I hope this doesn't count as duplicate thread. Posting my chat with eBay seller onemillion for a bit of a laugh. Honestly at this stage I doubt I will be receiving my product but I just want to make sure I'm wasting as much of the sellers time given the lies they have told everyone.
I got onboard with everyone else with the $90 Ender 3 deal posted here —> https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/494928 . But unlike everyone I didn't receive any message saying some BS answer about a dodgy batch or whatever so I waited until the estimated delivery date before asking seller where my item is.
Seller claims they have sent it but can't produce any tracking or shipping information or proof and offers refund. Then claims the item is lost and offers refund. Then claims faulty batch and offers refund (or wait 40 days for next batch, others have pointed out this is to wait out the eBay/PayPal protection). Then seller at some point offers refund and says I can pay them back if the item that was "shipped" does actually arrive.
I pointed out if it's a faulty batch why are they selling the same item in a different listing. (8 available as of 20/11/2019 3pm https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Creality-Ender-3-3D-Printer-Offi…)
Attached my conversation. Numbered for reading order since eBay doesn't thread the messages: https://imgur.com/a/TemFqcg
Just like what was said in the original thread, if seller had just been upfront and said price error most people would have been understanding and accepting. The lies and deceit are what make it unacceptable.
Should I drag it out or just file dispute, leave negative feedback and take refund?
TLDR: eBay seller lies that they have shipped product when they haven't. Repeatedly pushes refunds instead of shipping product. Says that promised batch is faulty even though still selling Ender 3 at full original price in separate ebay listing
Leave negative feedback, when i did they started pleading for me to remove it, was hilarious.
