  Don't touch the Earl Grey or Lady Grey. They've had supply issues with ingredients for a few months and despite drivel on Facebook about their master brewers working to perfect the taste they currently taste like a warm concoction of cats urine, pesticide, and melted plastic. They thoughtfully changed the tag colour to brown so you can recognise they are sh!t, but unfortunately you can't see that until you open the packet.

    Bought a couple boxes of earl gray yesterday from Woolies and ran to the pantry to check.
    Their tags look more red than brown so not sure if I'm in the clear…

    Ah - I wondered why my last batch of LG had the brown tag. I will have to investigate further. I should have kept a few and requested a refund.

  Just read a heap about chemicals in tea. Twinings supposedly has a lot. Better off getting organic Australian tea like Madura or Nerada. Also Chinese tea supposedly has a lot of lead in it according to Dr Karl - https://www.abc.net.au/science/articles/2014/03/05/3957040.h…
