True, but the Techfast deals usually have a base price using ancient A320 motherboards, 8GB of slow 2400MHz RAM and relatively slow SATA SSDs. IF you upgrade a few of those parts to more modern hardware, the price jumps up quite a bit.
This deal uses at least a B350 motherboard (maybe newer, I'm not an expert), a faster NVMe SSD (plus a bonus mechanical drive) and 16GB of more modern 2666MHz RAM. And it includes a genuine Windows license.
The first one I linked above is $1,007 delivered and has a B350 MB and 16gb of 2400MHz RAM included in that price.
Processors would cost roughly the same amount.
Most importantly, the Techfast one has a non-reference 5700 which costs ~$550 on special while the HP has a 580 8gb which costs maybe $250 (details unknown).
Not denying the HP has a few better features in places, but as gaming PCs the Techfast one will be way ahead of the HP for the same money.
Not to mention al the fun HP software that will come pre installed
Totally agree that the Techfast one is a better deal, in terms of outright performance/dollar.
I have a 580 and I can tell you it leaves a lot to be desired
wot where does it say this uses a B350 mb?
iirc hp uses custom motherboards and this is unlikely to be true
in the specifications the mb brand is "Sunflower"
Doesn't seem great value compared to some reasonably similar current or previous Techfast deals.
