    Is that minus 1%?

  • +10

    Camt stack with codes….

  • +3

Yay, it's back… negligible percentage, but at least it's back ☺️

    • +36

Back with no discount code allowed, hardly a deal.

  • +1

    Wowawiwa

    • +1

Wrote this before realising no discount code allowed.. Taking it back.

  • +33

Cashback is ineligible if a coupon code is applied to any transactions.

seems kind if pointless then :)
pretty rare to buy stuff on ebay without using a coupon these days

    • +10

Better off using the velocity or qantas e-store. They’ve been tracking my purchases regardless of coupons or use of gift cards.

    • Exactly the same as Shopback. Disappointing eBay has decided to pull this, but they are a business in it for profit afterall 😉

Overly unfriendly T&Cs kill it lol

Not that 1% is good to begin with

  • +3

Cashback is ineligible if a coupon code is applied

Kind of a deal killer right there

    LOLLLLLLLLL

    No thanks.

  • +2

    A whole 1 percent! Wowsers

Some alternatives (please comment below if you know more!):

    Shopback - 1%
    Qantas Shopping - 1pt/$

    • you still get Qantas points with eBay coupon.

    • +2

SB no coupon codes = useless as well .

QFF can still apply coupon codes ( probably will get the same terms sometime soon ) = CLEAR WINNER

    • Velocity eStore as well (1pt/$). T&C's say coupons don't earn points, but I've been able to previously.

  • +2

Yeah nah re: non eligible on using discount codes and only on desktop browser

  • Auctions won with bid sniping tools are ineligible for Cashback.

WTF, why? And how would they know, what about manually placed snipe bids?

    • +1

      And how would they know

That's the point they wouldn't which is why it would be difficult to be tracked for cashback.

Doing it manually doesn't require sniping tools as long as done in desktop browser from cashrewards website

      • Hmmm, what are they tracking, the bid or the payment? Or do you need to click through for both? And if both need to be tracked do you need to pay within a certain period of winning (or bidding?) in order for the cashback to be valid?

In a way I'm glad it's only 1% and not valid with coupon codes so I can continue to do what I've been doing - not bothering with cashback on ebay!

Cashback or payback? Who uses eBay without voucher codes?!

    • +4

Idiots…. or for small purchases. I couldn't be bothered with a 1% discount on a 15 buck item.

      • also, foreign purchases attract 10% GST,
so people also started buying directly from vendors overseas.

      • Auction doesn’t work with coupon most of the time

      • The thing is that it's easy to get the Shopback cashback on mobile for those few small purchases, while you can't with Cashrewards.

  • The T&C's are a killer. At least Quantas frequent flyer program lets you use eBay vouchers.

    Dealbreaker in my opinion

  • What’s new?

  • +17

Sorry, this is almost completely useless.

    • +1

Wow amazed this wasn't down voted by 30 people. What some of these halfwits do to nullify legit down voters waits for them

  • +1

Probably only worth using if you're buying low-value items and you have a limited-use voucher you don't want to waste.
Better than nothing, if nothing was what you were going to save on the transaction anyway.

    • +2

If I'm buying a 10 dollar item, I'd honestly be willing to pay an extra 1% for the convenience of using my mobile.

  • +3

Can't stack with codes? Sorry but that just defeats the purpose…

  • +3

Spend $5000 get $50 back, what a great deal 👎

  • +2

I know a lot of people are bitter with Ebay on this site, but even I have to admit that 1% is kind of a joke.

  • Cashback is ineligible if a coupon code is applied to any transactions.
    y tho?

  • Why not beat SB with by another percent
