My comment is not about the pokémon game, but the Nintendo Switch console.
The Switch has been pumping so many great games recently, eg Fire Emblem, Astral Chain, Zelda, Dragon Quest XI S edition, Luigi's Mansion.
I definitely recommend people to buy the Switch for these exclusive releases (as in exclusive for now lol)

I don't know, I have a switch and I'm just not feeling it with these releases. Honestly botw Zelda was only the one that I think has truly been enjoyable for me.
Nothing else really comes second or has the same enjoyment factor.
If you have a gen 1 switch you may be able to install homebrew. The switch starts becoming a lot more interesting, and better value for money….
Nintendo games aren’t for everyone. But if they are, nothing comes close.
I feel similarly uninspired by my XBox One. I can’t find much to play other than indie titles. It’s like it’s all FPSes, story-focused open world games, and online multiplayer games. I have zero interest in any of those genres. But that’s just me. I love the Switch by comparison.
The only thing stopping me from buying a Switch is that I’m already struggling to keep up with the PS4 and PC games I want to play. Buying a Switch would add another console’s worth of guilt onto that pile.
Guilt is good. It motivates you.
The Switch is a lot easier to squeeze into life. If you commute on a train, you can play switch instead of browsing internet.

You'll need a charger. The last time I flew I only got like 2-3 hours of bayonetta

I live in metro Sydney. The blue switch lite I ordered in Sep came on the release day. Same for the Pokémon edition console which has been dispatched yesterday and the delivery day is today according to the tracking. Besides, I think the express postage for this shop only charges less than $1 more. If you are eager to get it on the release day, you can choose that option.

I've played every pokemon game! Definitely worth it. I lost a bit of interest playing Ruby/Sapphire/White/Black but X and Y were really good. Sun and Moon were okay but a lot better than R&S B&W.
Really looking forward to this sword and shield version.

i've only played the first, 21ish years ago or whenever it was. i was actually going to pick this up, and specifically just bought a switch from that recent target deal for it, but the pokemon subreddit, and the internet in general is in flames with how much of a meh effort has seemingly been put in to the game so i'm holding off for now.
Give it a few years and it might become a classic ;)
