It also makes a great kitchen timer.
Or to check the weather in the country. Hopefully get some drought relief soon and woolies can drop their milk price by 20c. I'm feeling the pinch also now.
Thanks…
This or a Amazon Echo Dot 3 gen for music?
An Echo will have better audio quality than an Echo Dot because it has two drivers vs the Dot's single driver. But if your primary focus is on quality music reproduction, then connecting an Echo device to external speakers via the auxlliary socket or Bluetooth is highly recommended, and then there will be no difference amongst the various Echo devices.
Ok all good, i dont have much space so the Echo should do fine, been using the gen 2 Dot for the last 6 months so it should be a nice upgrade. Thanks!
Didn’t anyone grab the gen 3 when it was on sale last Thursday $49
I tried and failed
Same. Couldn’t convince the security guard that bulge in my pants was just because I was happy to see him.
"Is that a bulge in your pants or are you just glad to see me?"
"Echo"
"I said, is that a bulge in your pants…"
I was able to get at different stores up tilll 12pm
You can price match with Bunnings for 10% less. $44.10
Just did this today, came to $44.10 each like you said. Got 2.
Thanks mate.
My house is full of Google Home Minis. Is the sound quality worth getting this just as a Bluetooth speaker for my Minis? Or am I better off with a normal $49 Bluetooth speaker.
Mate this blows gh minis out of the water. No contest.
Pt. 2 of your question is too general.
My question was not whether the sound quality is better than a mini. I take that for granted. It was, I want a Bluetooth speaker to pair my Minis with for better quality sound. Is $49 better spent on an Echo purely for this purpose, or on another type of Bluetooth speaker?
I don't understand. Pairing a speaker with another speaker is redundant. What exactly are you trying to get?
@Skinnerr: Functionality of the google home mini, with the audio quality of something better when playing music. You realise you can bluetooth pair the mini's with another speaker for music right?
@Hipsi: No I didn't. I don't have any google homes.
Dunno why this wasn't more popular. Absolute steal.
Bunnings cancelled my order after a week, had to go to Jbhifi to get it.
I picked up the last one from JB Australia Fair last night. Was hoping to walk away with more but apparently someone else beat me to it. Another OzB maybe?
Not bad for a bluetooth speaker that can tell lame dad jokes and control the lights you bought on sale.
