Apple iPhone 4 16GB Officially Unlocked (Free Insurance + 1 Year Warranty) $624 + $74.95 Shipping

352

Becextech is selling the iPhone 4 16 GB for $624 with a 1 year Australian Warranty. I'm pretty sure that's one of the cheapest deals out there so far. It doesn't mention the postage as far as I know which might be the catch.

I also found the 32 GB iPhone 4 with priority delivery and a 'free accessory' that isn't mentioned apparently.

This is my first post. :)

Mod: Postage appears to be $74.95 for "Express Courier/Express Post" (only postage option).

  • :O Good first post! I would never pay this much for an iPhone 4, just because i'd prefer an android phone at this price, but it's a good deal for people who want an iPhone4.

    is this site reliable?
also can you get it in white?

also theres plenty reason to go apple over android. it provides a super easy to use phone out of the box that doesn't require nerd skills to customise.

Guys, please no more iPhone/android is better comments. This deal is about iPhone, period. So please keep the discussion on iPhones only. Safe to assume that people interested in this deal is already considering getting an iPhone. If you want to know more about android phones or compare them, either google them or start a new thread In the forums.

    For the lazy:

    1. The official iPhone price 16gb is A$859, so the deal $624 is about 27% off.

    2. The new iPhone 5 is strongly speculated to be released this August, probably will reach Australia by September.

    3. The new iPhone 5 is strongly speculated to be exactly like the iPhone 4 with better Camera and A5 processor (so far confirmed).

I hope these research points will help you in deciding the purchase, thanks.

I'm pretty sure the iPhone 5 would have many more things than just a better camera and processor to try beat it's competitors.

Knowing Apple they'd just need to change the name from iPhone4 to iPhone5, reduce 0.01 mm thickness (optional), and it would instantly sell millions.

        • rumour has it they are going back to the pre-iphone4 shape also.

I wish to add a #4 - For the lazy.

Buying an iPhone 5 would also mean having to queue in line, or queue on line, whichever method you choose to buy.

      Express Courier/Express Post(2 - 4 Working Days) (Australia Wide Delivery: ) AU$74.95

      • seriously? Is that what it said?

    • I'll forecast October, knowing that many stores will run out of stock at the end of the day of launch in Oz.

And the price of the iPhone 4 will drop to the price of a 3GS now. About $450 for a 16GB model.

I'm still using my Nokia 8310 from 2002.

  • Is this a grey import, as they indicate an extensive on site repair network, where is you need to take to the apple store if it was an aust delivered phone by apple themselves

    • Doesn't matter I got confirmation from Apple Store Sydney that the warranty on the iPhone is worldwide (except for in China, where it's a limited warranty, didn't ask what that meant though, the guy only said the warranty in China is slightly different)

  • What is the Warranty deal?…I thought Apple provided worldwide warranty directly?

why no one mentioned a ridiculous Express shipping fee of $74.95? You should have checked this before you post on ozbargain. It is not so hard to find out the shipping cost, or are you trying to hide the excessive shipping cost?

Since this is grey import, you can get it cheaper on ebay.

    • LOL this shipping fee beats the one by SS.

    • They didn't mention the shipping anywhere. :/

      • you need to go to check out to get the shipping cost

  • Shipping ruins it.

  • Just be aware that if these phones are grey imports that chances are they won't be A-ticked making them illegal for use in Australia (and there are obvious warranty implications if Apple find out that the phones are not approved for use in Australia). You can be fined for using non A-ticked telecommunications devices. I'd be double checking with the seller before buying something that may effectively turn out to be an expensive paperweight and may even land you in legal hot water.

  • this doesn't look like a bargain…?
