HiSense has better picture quality from what I have heard.

Download to a FAT32 USB drive, plug it into the USB service port, unplug the power, then plug the power back in while you hold down the power button (centre, bottom of TV) for 15 seconds.
Like others, I have found the device to be buggy, and the interface laggy/sluggish, but I don't believe this is an inherent flaw in Android, since Sony TVs don't have the same issues, and I think my P8M TV only has 1.5Gb of RAM. You might find the interface is slightly more responsive by enabling Android Developer Options, and turning off all animations.
Even though the interface and remote are lacking, the motion on the screen is acceptable – for example, when a football is kicked across the screen, it doesn't "skip" across the screen as it might on the cheapest of TVs.
The good news is that you can install all your favourite apps directly onto the device from the Play Store, eg Kayo, Netflix, ABC iView, 7Plus, 9Now, 10Play, SBS On Demand, Kodi.

I have last years 55P6US. With the lastest firmware update its much more stable and supports the new Android interface. Suspect this should have a slightly better CPU so should work fine.
