Integral 32GB Evo USB Flash Drive 8MB/s Write 23MB/s Read - $33 Delivered

50
VCHOT5

UPDATE: MM now stating that this flash drive gets 8MB/s write and 23MB/s read. Great Deal!!

Seems good enough for a 32gb Flash Drive. A bit slow, but still worth it for the price. Use VCHOT5 for 5% off.

EDIT: If you want you can save around 70cents on a MyMemory 32gb Flash Drive, probably lower build quality but write/ read speeds seem to be a bit higher at 4MB/s write and 15 - 20MB/s read

EDIT 2: $46 Delivered (5% off) for a 32gb Transcend Jetflash getting 18MB/s write and 32MB/s read (being the fastest you can get in a USB2.0 port) Nice!

  • Great price.

  • good work with the specs in the title

  • :)

  • +1

At 3MB/s writes, these things will take 4.8 hours to fill (best case scenario). Great price but specs are so poor it becomes next to useless :(

    • ** 4.8 hours should be 3 hours

good price for a 32GB but absolutely appalling r/w speeds. I wouldn't touch it with a 60 foot pole

    • but you'd still tap that right?

    • Ditto. A ~25MB/s drive like the A-RAM TRX-200 would cost ~$50 and be well worth the extra dosh.

But at $33 delivered, it's cheap for what it is. But I'd pay the extra.

Good price today - by the time you finish writing to it, 32GB sticks will be cheaper ;o)

    3200/3 = 1066.67 seconds = 17.78 minutes to fill this usb
    WAY TOO SLOW

    • you mean ((32768/3)/60) = 182 minutes = 3 hours

      • +1

And most of the time it's not all at once, for example you might copy 2gbs of file to the USB which will take a little bit over 10 minutes, but then copying it back might only take 3minutes. If you've got a lot of data on their that you're not constantly moving around, just using it for portable storage then it's a good deal.

    • 18 minutes to fill 32GB? That'd be 30MB/s. That'd be nice.

      • +1

Well with my new A-RAM 16gb Flash Drive, that gets up to 68MB/s read it will only take me 4.5 minutes to offload 16gb of data :P

          Nice. That is nice.

Thanks, you can get it for $27.99 delivered from meritline, I will be benchmarking it as soon as I get it in my USB3.0 port! Should still get 30MB/s read through the normal usb2.0 port thougn.

You should mention that one is only 16GB.

The comment wasn't meant to be joined onto the thread, I was just sayin to tantryl that my new flash drive will get so and so read/ write speeds.

        geezus….

        • wait, how did you order from meritline? that link for the 16GB USB stick says its from US warehouse which means it won't deliver to Australia. (just tried and won't work)

how did you do it? :O

    • Did you need to use a parcel forwarding service to get this?
I get this message while checking out "These items has been removed due to we do not ship them outside of United States"

      • OH damn, I though they did ship internationally, going from some of the other specials from Meritline I've seen here. I actually got mine from Play-Asia, where the price was originally $33.69, but later realised meritline were selling them for $28 delivered.

So they're $26.95 at Play-Asia, with regualar post at $2.40

        http://www.play-asia.com/AData_USB_3.0_Disk_S102_16GB_Titani…

        Sorry about that.

        • EDIT: Their now $39.90 :( Guess I was lucky with $33.69

  • 3MB/s write? My old 1GB yumcha drive can best that. Even my wireless moves data through 3 walls faster than this so that's pretty awful performance over a 32GB capacity when you think about it. I'd definitely pay extra for a faster model.

That said, for those who don't need performance or copy once and leave then I suppose it's a good deal but I can't +1 this, personally I don't think such a slow drive should even be on the market but others might disagree :)

  • Nice! Thank you sir.
