[QLD] Brisbane CBD: Lunch for $1 via Ritual App

270

Lunch for $1 via Ritual App
Plenty of participating stores within Brisbane CBD
Valid all of this week as well as following week / exp 8th Nov, 2019.

Each store has a specific item listed under $1.
Best value in terms of savings I can find is the $15.90 calamari dish from George's Bar on 111 Eagle Street.

Just click on the banner advertising the deal in the App's home page, alternatively search "DOLLARLUNCH" in the App

If you still have trouble seeing the $1 items, change your current address to CBD area (thanks @Kimyongjeon https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/7892697/redir)

Looks like limit of 1 voucher per day also applies.

An extension of https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/491791 which is specifically today only where Jee's is also participating
Queensland/Brisbane also gets an extra redemption compared to NSW/Sydney https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/492453

Referral Signup Deal still applied (Shamelessly taken from https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/422173)
If you sign up to Ritual using somebody else's referral code both people get $10 (you get $5 for signing up then $5 when the first order is made). It's a food/coffee ordering app like Hey You - can find out about it here(ritual.co).

Offer can only be redeemed once per day and once per restaurant, limit of 4 redemptions per user. Offer available Monday to Friday between 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM local time during the campaign duration. Applicable to select menu items at participating restaurants. Promotion subject to change. Terms and conditions apply.

          • @david1215: Thanks for your help. Still can't see them. Must be me.

            • @smackus: You should be able to see a banner on the front page saying "lunch for $1":(

              • @david1215: No banner.
But a search for Dollarlunch brings up a long list of places but nothing in their menus. Oh well.

              • @david1215: Nugget is that u

They are pretty quick and easy regarding issues and resolutions.

I've found a trick to check $1 menu!
Change your current address to CBD area
Then you will see $1 menu deal on the app

      You beauty, thanks that worked.

    • For anyone still having trouble make sure your address is set to literally "Brisbane CBD" and not just to some address in the CBD! I couldn't figure this out for a while cos I was already in the CBD and didn't see any deals 😛

  • I think the deal is active till 8 Nov, not today only per OP?

    • +1

I have expiry date set as 8th.

I was comparing it to the post regarding Jee's which is today only (based on the other post / Jee's Facebook page

  • No $1 lunch today in Brisbane.
I saw the deal yesterday after I had lunch and there were heaps of options, but none today?

    • Did you click on banner / search for "DOLLARLUNCH" in the App.

I got a $14 funky chicken bowl at Malolo Poke today :)

You still have until next week to use up your 4 vouchers.

Jee's is also available for duration of promotion it seems

  • Just had our first $1 lunch! Cheers for the heads up

  • Do not go to George's Bar

The $16 calamari dish only gives you 10 or so pieces and the coleslaw is just a spoonful as garnish.
Its not in their regular menu so I reckon it's the vendors way to potentially rip off Ritual depending on who pays for the difference
