So which one do I buy and sell on gumtree /ebay and make thousands? Or even hundreds at this point.

    • +2

      Good question

    • F&F sell like $15 per pop according to my FB marketplace

      • What is F&F?

        • Sorry , Fast and the Furious

        • Friends and family

        • Fire and forget

    • That reminds me - I need to find my old redline cars and see if any are worth something…. :-)

  • Nice deal!

$1 per car is the bargain price I always aim for, thanks OP.

My sons seem to have a billion of these already (at least it feels like it when I step on them!), but for $10 its a cheap present I know they'll love.

Yeah honestly I can't think of a better present for a young kid unless he is really into like Lego's or something else.

      • They've got Lego too ;).

It's like crack for kids… Lego and Matchbox cars.
30 years ago I was the same… some things never change!

The best memory I have as a child is going to the library and playing with the kids toys it was so amazing like nothing like now.. They had cars, toys, dinosaurs, robots, mini everything and to top it all off the best thing a child could ever have

          A town traffic floor mat!!!

I remember rating a school or library basically by the variety and size of their city / town floor mat.

I think Auburn library in NSW had the biggest one I could see. It was like visiting Disney land every time we would go there.

Now the magic is gone and I still kind of try to live that early experience and memory from top down city building and strategy games like Anno 1800.

@capslock janitor: Nothing really brings me back like seeing one of those again and working in a school they are all over the place.. Best memory flashback ever.

Yeah I loved them so much because they doubled as both something awesome to play on and well a mat.. Pretty inspirational to be honest ok gotta get back to work see ya later.

Even better than that, i only have a two year old so i get away with more. I remove one car at a time for a present!

      • That would last til end of Primary school. Good stuff, dad.
