[VIC, NSW] Free Burger at Burger Project via EatClub App (New Users)

680

Hey ozbargain,

saw this one on Facebook last night. Today and tomorrow, you can get a free burger at any of the Burger Project stores by downloading an app called 'EatClub' and redeeming the deal.

I've checked - app is free to download, and coupon is working!

If you haven't used EatClub before, this is the perfect opportunity - we're shouting all NEW EatClub customers a free burger from Burger Project this Tues, Wed & Thurs.

There's 100 available from each of the stores listed below, each day from Tues 22/10 to Thurs 24/10. The burger on offer is a classic, Burger Project's American Cheeseburger

VIC: St Collins Lane, Chadstone, Bourke St.
NSW: World Square, MLC Martin Place, Circular Quay, Broadway, Bondi Junction, Grosvenor Place.

      Wow, what a cool website.

When you enter your postcode, it lists your nearest interstate one. Then if you keep pressing go, they disappear one by one. It's better than playing space invaders…

      • Is this the longest comment JV's ever written?

        • +3

It's not the length of the comment that matters, it's what you do with it…

This is only valid for New Customers

How do they know if you are new? Do they use facial recognition?

  • +1

I'm a new customer and can't see the free burger option.. maybe already reached the 100 limit for today?

    • +1

      Same

    • +1

Coupon only appeared at store opening hours, it seems.

  • I can see it avaliable on the Bondi Junction store - I think you need to click into the actual store itself and redeem it from there. They don't open till 11:30 but you can 'pre-book'

    • Ah ok, maybe just not available at Burger Project Broadway then. Thanks anyway.

    • Says ‘Must be in the Venue’ when I choose Free Burger for Bondi Junction

  • does anyone know i the eatclub 25-30% off stacks on top of their daily offers?

Worked for me but I was only able to see the offer on iOS not on android…

    • working on android now

      • -2

        candy crush is not work…

  • Worded for Android. Need to click the live toggle.

    • +2

Ok worked for me now, it must only work during store open hours.

  • Had issues ordering, then worked out I had to order direct from the restaurant, not through the app.

  • +2

claimed. presented appl voucher at the restaurant.

Dont forget to order some chips :)

    Enjoy

  • The EatClub app is a great way to get discounted food and drinks. Often better value than anything you can find in the Entertainment Book, although it doesn't have as many options.

Works best if you live near a capital city though

First 100 only makes it a dud deal imo.
Liven has free brugers for all new customers from 8bit if you have not used that app before.

  • Got one at World Square, cheers

    • +1

when did you claim ? surely this deal has expired … 100 only to claim

  • and coupon is working!

    what coupon ?

  • Do they deliver it?

    • Doesn't seem so

  • STill 23 left at gateway circ quay.

  • i can't see no burgers …

  • +5

    app broken

    • +1

Yep, app + traffic network issue, but score free burger with EatClub staff onsite.

Best to buy with chips and drink too.

      • Do you think the burger worths $12.90 if don't use this deal?

        • +1

The bun and the meat are better than Grill’d but they always discounted to $6 from 3-6pm and 25% off using EatClub App. It tasted good compare to Maccas Angus burger. $12.9 is reasonably price, considering the size of chicken you get from Nando’s.

          • @Freakycat: Ohhhh I didn't know that it becomes $6 from 3-6pm. That actually makes it a lot better then.
I'm not sure about your first statement though. Personally I think Grill'd is better, but I respect your opinion on the bun. Yesterday when I tried this deal, I had to wait nearly 20 minutes for a takeaway order, my burger looked pretty sad too. Idk how but it was kinda collapsed on its own inside the bag (Pretty sure I didn't sit on it lol)

            • @Scythic: i heard the discounted burger is different to the full RRP burger, particularly in the portion department.

  • Back on today because of the issues. I just pre-ordered mine. Here’s the email I got:

    Hi There,

    Jeroen from EatClub here.

I just wanted to reach out and apologise for the experience you had whilst trying to redeem one of our 'Free Burger' deals from Burger Project yesterday.

Due to the unprecedented amount of traffic from this campaign, many customers were not able to redeem one of these deals. We understand this is not a great first experience on EatClub and that it may have impacted your lunch/dinner plans. For this, I apologise.

Please know that our team was working tirelessly yesterday to resolve this issue and now we have improved our systems to minimise the risk of this happening again.

Given this, we'd love to invite you to redeem a deal again today at one of the 9x participating Burger Project stores across Melb and Sydney (which you can be prebook now!), just ensure you're quick - as they will all be redeemed quickly!

Further to this, we've just issued the below promo code. When used, this promo code will add an additional 5% off to any regular EatClub deal you redeem (i.e. it will turn your 35% off deal into a 40% off one). This code can be used once and will expire at the end of this month.

Again, we're very sorry about this experience, if you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to let us know by emailing us at [email protected]

    Thanks,
    Jeroen Willems
    Country Manager
