The women and men of your expedition build the first two settlements. Fortunately, the land is rich in natural resources. You build roads and new settlements that eventually become cities. Will you succeed in gaining supremacy on Catan? Barter trade dominates the scene. Some resources you have in abundance, other resources are scarce. Ore for wool, brick for lumber - you trade according to what is needed for your current building projects. Proceed strategically! If you found your settlements in the right places and skillfully trade your resources, then the odds will be in your favour. But your opponents are smart too.

      I am geniuenly shocked that people would consider counterfeiting a board game (just did some research after reading your comment)

      Not sure if it is counterfeit or not but it is considerably cheaper than RRP so likely is… but thx for the heads up!

        All good - you'll see lots of board games on eBay for about 50% off RRP and even say Aussie stock, they're mostly counterfeit. Most of them will still have 5 star reviews but there's always one cluey person who realises it's a fake and will comment about it!
