    I was eligible! Thanks.

There's another code which worked for me on a primary account : 8234eats

    • Will add it on.

    • Me too

    • Strange, the 1823eats code tells me I'm not eligible for it, but when I try the 8234eats code and click 'Add promotion' nothing happens at all.

      • +2

Same thing happened to me, try going back in the app and then clicking on 'Add Promotion' again.

      • +1

You gotta remove the code and re-enter it then click add promotion. It's a weird bug.

        • Ah, gotcha, yep, still not eligible!

  • +1

    targeted :(

  • +5

I order UE almost everyday and never get these deals… sigh.

    • +33

      I think that's why you're not targeted.

      • +11

i never order ubereats and im never targeted either. explain this to me.

        • +5

I never order ubereats and I don't even know if I'm targeted. please help

        • +1

i never order ubereats or never targeted or never explained this

        • I order ubereats occasionally and I often get these (not for the above today though)

        • +1

I order occasionally (like once a month now, down from once a week) and don't get anything either. I have made complaints about things and got refunds in the past so I reckon that has something to do with it.

        • +4

I never signed up to ubereats and have never used it, and I don't even know if I'm targeted. Please help.

        • +1

It's targeted towards those who have big dongs. So not me.

        • +1

I eat, don't use uber and shop at Target.

How does this explain me to it?

    • I have 2 accounts. I only ever get the deals on the way I use.

    • +2

You should try Menulog. If ordering from the exact same restaurant, the menu prices are much less than Uber Eats (at least 20% in my experience).

      • -1

        Factually incorrect.

      • Not sure about food prices, but often delivery is a couple of bucks cheaper with menulog, now that ubereats has changed their pricing scheme

        • Probably the case, but my mate has a shop on both and he confirmed the price of food is identical.

Having a quick look myself, shops that are close to my location with $2.99 delivery are now cheaper than the Menulog $5 delivery…..Others however are now expensive because of the delivery price shift.

  • I was eligible. Does this mean I can buy up to 100 times or is that 100 free deliveries split up among others with the sane code?

    • +1

It would be 1 free delivery per order over $10. x 100 orders

    • +5

YOU get the delivery charge removed from your next 100 orders, or 30 days, whichever occurs first.

  • +38

If I had $1 for every Uber Eats voucher I wasn't eligible, I reckon I could afford my next 100 deliveries.

  • -4

    too good to be true.

  • Did it work for anyone who used the last round of 2 free deliveries promo?

  • +1

Targeted.. I've got this a couple of times now.. the last time i used it to order a cappuccino from Maccas! 😂

  • no good….

  • Got the email for 1823eats

    • same here. go to the app and enter it and it says im not eligible. okay uber

  • Not eligible on account I use about 1 time per month and not eligible on account that I used 3 months ago…
How do you get UE to target you?

    • +1

I signed up for UE and never ordered anything.
They sent me a $30 code to spend on anything so I ordered something.
Never ordered anything after that and they just kept spamming my email with $5 off next order, free delivery etc etc

      • +1

        Same.
I'm in a town they only came to 18months ago, signed up then.
Then I found out the delivery radius looked like pacman with my house in the mouth.
1 year later they start delivering to my area.
        Wasn't interested until I got a $10 off code.
Gave em a bad review (food took 2hrs, was luke warm, tasted like extra chewing gum.)
They've been spamming me ever since.
        Still never use it.

  • +1

How is anyone going to use 3 orders a day? One a meal?

    • +8

      Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. Wallstreetbets.

    • +1

Would encourage people to try new restaurants

    • +1

Well I have the unlimited one now and I order my mains, dessert and drinks from 3 different shops for dinner or lunch sometimes. So yeah. You could do 3 orders for one meal even. or supper for that sneaky kebab or pizza

  • +2

Had a (presumably targeted) code in my email of 1232eats if anyone wants to give that a shot!

    • added it on, thanks

    • no luck :(

    • worked for me.Thanks

  • +1

    None worked for me.

  • +2

i think i unsubscribed at some point. anyone know how i can resubscribe to marketing ?

    • same..

    • In your account settings, can you add your email?

  • +1

    None of these work

  • +1

Ozbargainers that get this working will have to join Jenny Craig shortly

    • What if you don't get it working and it raises your cortisol levels and then you get fat too?

      Can't win either way

  • +1

I don't believe it - a code actually worked for me after dozens of ineligible error codes.

    Thanks OP!

  • +4

(profanity) you uber eats this shit never seems to work for me, will stick with the free delivery promotion in app.

    • What is the free delivery promo??? They never work for me either :(

      • The free delivery promo which im talking about is not a code, in app it appears on the main page

"you're likely to share a delivery partner with a nearby order"

Every 5 minutes four different shops appear on the promotion although it can also be the same shop, i assume this is not available in every area.

Might share a delivery 20 - 30 % of the time, i have also recived my money back if the delivery share is done on a bicycle and my food is cold.

  • Surprisingly this worked for me. Thanks.

  • +1

Have any one noticed that each restaurant now add a fee of various amount? there wasn't such a fee before…

    • I've noted some restaurant having that GST or tax of some sort. I usually avoid them once I realised.

  • Why is Ubereats not on shop back ?

  • +1

For once in 2 years my main account has been targeted! Miracle.

    • Me too! Couldn't believe it.

Had a big expletive written post ready in my head and everything.

  • +1

    Never f*%&$#g targeted

  • Sigh I would have liked this code ;(

  • I know a restaurant which is about 30km from me, normally we spend about $60 there. Does that mean if I have it delivered it will also be free?

    • Give it a go. no harm trying.

    • you can only choose from restaurants around you.

  • 100 upvotes for 100 deliveries

  • How can one feasibly use ubereats that much anyway…

  • +1

I got a month of free deliveries last week. Talk about jacking up prices, still over priced with free deliveries and I used to deliver for Uber Eats and am aware of the 35% commission.
A $11 Pizza is $18 with free delivery from a shop 2KM away.

  • Haven’t ordered anything for more than a year and got the email :) They got me back!

  • too bad everything is above 20 bucks around here

  • +4

    I just got 572eats, that's for 3 free deliveries.

    • Worked for me!thank you!!

    • Worked for me too! Thanks for posting!

    • Got this code in my email as well for 3x deliveries.

    • Not for me, thanks anyway!

  • This conflicts directly with recommendation for aggressive risk factor modification for coronary artery disease

  • Thank you OP!

when did take-away become bring to me? lazy people deserve to have their food farted on… half the world is starving and the other half is too fat and lazy to care… unless it's delivered for free.

  • Free deliveries—- excluding delivery fee

  • I also receive the code but when I applied it the delivery fee is still there and it says 'Oops, you already applied this promotion'

  • I got it, but probably won’t use it more than once (if that)… maybe I’m missing something but why would I pay full price for takeaways when if I go and pick it up I can use entertainment book, voucher, dominos codes and such - so save 50% or get 2 for 1 etc etc. is it possible to use these with Uber eats?

  • Looks like DoorDash is giving them some serious competition. They might as well kill delivery fees (which they did in some countries) the markup on menu items is so high anyway that they make huge profits as it is

  • Thanks OP! So far my ubereats bag is piling in my kitchen and just keeps increasing.

  • why do prices are steeper when bought via Uber Eats? am talking about the price charged by the restaurants themselves without taking consideration the Uber Delivery charges.

    • +1

In one of the other comments, they said that Uber Eats charges the restaurant a sizeable commission for any sale

      • if they want to use the service, they sure to get charge. but instead they pass it on to their customer. :-(

    • +3

      I own a suburban cafe.

Uber Eats charge a restaurant/cafe 35% of the cost of the order (in most cases). The business owner needs to recoup that cost somehow.

If Hospitality business making ~10-15% profit on regular customers they are running a decent business. If Uber want 35%, how do you think businesses make money? The only option they have is to reduce food costs or to charge more for equivalent goods. Both of which a customer pays. Don't you blame the hospo business for Uber's bull-crap deceptive business model.

Support your local business and use your own damn car or your feet instead of paying these mega tech companies your hard earned money.

I'll be damned if I am going to pay my staff wages and business costs so that I can pass it along to Uber.

It seems very un-Ozbargain-like to me to use Ubereats.

      • Wow! Is it similar for the other food delivery companies? Is uber the worst? Do you still use uber?

        • Never used Uber. I told them where to stick it. Every now and again they call me and I lol at their justifications for price.

I can't imagine how bad a position we would have to be in to decide to sell my soul to Ubereats.

I ordered take away for my family last night, paid ~$60 to pick it up. If that was Ubereats, I would have paid ~$66 and Uber would have received more than $25 for the privilege of dropping it to my door. Someone would have gotten screwed in that transaction, and it wouldn't be Uber.

  • Not eligible for any codes! :(

  • if only ubereats was available in more places

  • Any ideas as to how you get on ubereats coupon list? All seem to be targeted and I've never had one sent to me or found a code that works with my account..

    • is your email address loaded on your account?
