Layers of Fear is a fantastic psychological thriller, definitely recommended

    • Same guys as this weeks Observer hey?

      • +2

Yeah. Unfortunately all their games use similar mechanics, playing Blair Witch was like Groundhog Day. Also can't seem to make a horror game based on an outside event/force, it's always gotta be inner demons garbage.

        • Oh they're the same team behind Blair Witch? Glad I played that one for 'free' with gamepass.
It was kind of average and dragged on significantly toward the end there =(

    • Especially when it is for free there's no reason not to try it if you are into that sort of thing.

Man, you were editing this at 2am?

He's up all night to get lucky… 🤣

Anything for the OZB community mate… And also the likes/badges as well… 😁

  • They can't all be winners

  • I started playing Q.U.B.E. 2 on GamePass and loved it, stopped to then play Q.U.B.E. 1, that's one hard game to buy the original version…

I remember Q.U.B.E. (the original, haven't tried QUBE2). Great game. If you have a PC i'd recommend just using isthereanydeal to find where to buy it. All of the sites listed are legit (not greymarket) and will give you a Steam key for it, you could just buy it directly on Steam though it will cost more.

  • QUBE 2 is really good, if you like Portal or similar games you'll like this. Same concept with different ways to do puzzles. Not overly hard but there are some that are a little difficult. Can't comment on DLC.

  • Thanks for the heads up on these deals op. it would be great to update the info on these kinds of posts as they always say 'the next freebie IS HERE' when they arent, the info and location for the upcoming freebies are here though. Likewise it always says 'THIS WEEK' when it is next week.

    • +1

It says "This week" for when the deal becomes active. The blue box in front of the deal does make it pretty clear that it is in 7 days and if you regularly get the freebies by now the week interval should be clear. While I understand what you mean updating the info is extra work and sometimes hard to remember as obviously posting deals is not my main profession. ;-) Maybe one solution is to only click on the future deals when they become active - that way the description is fine. :-)

      • posting deals is not my main profession. ;-)

Wait, what?? You're in my top people to watch for quality goodies!

Or even simpler, just click on reminder and set reminder on start date, easy peasy.

Why do I keep downloading this shlt I don't play any of them

    • +2

Maybe you should play them… I've played through a lot of the free epic games and have found many to be fantastic.

      • True

      • I've found some great Games too. What Remains of Edith Finch is my favourite so far.

    • +1

My plan is to play them one by one when I'm retired…

  • qube 2 was excellent on gamepass. a real puzzling game like portal but i felt qube was harder.
