Absolutely, I don't want to be lugging 24 boxes of tissues home, especially when my nearest BigW is a shit to get to

      • I'm sold!

    • Ohh thanks, I might pick up 2 :D

6 boxes will last forever 12 is a lot… all that I need to order for free delivery is a families worth

    • The deal is no big w where I live. Same price as big w and free shipping with cashback. That's how you spell deal.

    • There are BIG W's closing down

    • +2

The one on Big W only have 75 tissues.

    • +3

    • Deal is i dont have to spend 20 minutes driving to and from, + parking + walking to my nearest Big W.

not with that attitude it isn't!

  • Is this similar to Kleenex's aloe vera tissues? Find that very soft and thick

    • +9

      Not even close.

I find the kleenex much much MUCH softer and gentler on the nose and upper lip. Especially when suffering from a cold where everything scratches.

I also find the aloe must be very minimal on the quilton ones as they dont seem to have a similar skin healing effect as the kleenex.

      Cheaper for a reason.

Having said all that, I buy these quilton ones regularly because they are good as every day tissues (and cheap) and with little kids with snotty noses we plow through a lot of tissues. But if I get a cold I buy a box or two of kleenex aloe as they are far softer and more effective healing qualities on the raw skin.

That makes sense. Cheers for the response!

Last time I mentioned my opinion above about the quilton aloe tissues in comparison to the kleenex ones, I got massively negged. lol

          • +3

@Skramit: Here to upvote because Kleenex is definitely the softer option of the two.

I'm the type of person to have at least a minorly runny nose all year round, especially when eating (not necessary spicy food, even cereal, blocks of ice, etc) and can do fine with the odd normal Kleenex or other tissue. But when I have a cold, Kleenex Aloe Vera is a must, or my nose will be very ouch.

          • @Skramit: Haha unlucky, definitely upvoted

There there, you're in a safe place now

      • Can you really tell the difference in "healing qualities" from different tissue paper? Just curious as I've never tried the Kleenex before.

        • +3

Yep. If you suffer from hayfever (like I do) and get a cold as well, you nose becomes a running tap and 500 billion tissues are required. If you don't use the aloe ones you end up with a red/raw/nasty nose. Using the kleenex aloe ones you can barely tell you've been wiping your nose every 5 seconds for 3 days. Massive difference. Alternatively, reapply Vaseline or or some other kind of aloe based moisturiser every time you blow your nose which is a hassle.

          • @Skramit: Interesting. Thanks, will give it a try.

          • @Skramit: I found sorbent thick and large is the best. Kleenex not even close

      • I am pretty sure there is hardly any aloe vera in neither Quilton nor Kleenex. The skin effect usually comes from other chemicals.

But Kleenex does feel better for hayfever+cold sufferers.
