Just for those that have missed

Check your flybuys app to see if you get a 10c off voucher
and also stack with the Shell V-power app to get an extra 8c off [expire on this sunday] (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/460008)
then use a Coles 4c off docket
and spend $20 in Coles express to get another 10c off

This will give you discounts of 32c off

(For shell corporate partner specific, use the Shell Secret Saver to get another extra 4c off, bringing to 36c off/L)

    • Good heads up but what's worth buying for $20+ at Coles Express without over spending?

      • buy 2 rolls of toilet paper will do :)

        • 24 roles for $10 which you can get at Aldi for $7.99? So spend $4 to save 10c. Which means 40L before you break even.

@netjock: Depends on your brand of choice of toilet paper I guess lol

  • What happens if you put normal fuel into a car that wants 95+ octane?

    • Usually reduced fuel economy as cars that want higher octane fuel can usually make use of the extra compression limits of that fuel.

I doubt it'll have any effect on cars that want normal fuel though

  • The car will get the normal fuel! ;)
