  • Is this a single transaction?
You can buy multiple items to add up to $110 in a single transaction to get the $10 bonus?

    • +2

Limited to one bonus per customer. If you make multiple transactions in a single day, you will receive the bonus for the transaction with the highest purchase amount.

So I assume its one transaction, I bought multiple items in one transaction last time and it went through.

      • i dont know they never disclose this in clear. so obvious people will ask, every time.

    • +1

      One transaction, yep.

      • Hi Rep, it's 15/11. cashback was tracked but no bonus yet.

        • Bonuses are fulfilled by end of day of the date quoted.

  • +9

Never recieved the $60 bonus from the last one (the transaction did track), shopback said it'll take an additional 35 days to 'investigate' so YMMV.

  • Just made a purchase an hour ago using shopback for the GPU deal I posted. When did this begin? I didn't see it on the app. Only mentioned 1%

    • I think if you click the Promo tab you see it… i'm not sure if clicking through the Promo tab is necessary to get this.

  • +1

A few hours ago made $500+ purchases from TGG :-(

    • $756 here at 10.35pm ffs

Edit/ I wonder which TZ shopback are using?

  • Yeah!

Why cant big W stock the 40mm gps, ive said it before and ill say it again.

    • say it to Big W, I want them to sell Tesla 3 and at 90% off!

      • +1

What’s your problem? They stock the 44mm, 40mm and 44mm cellular at RRP. What’s wrong with expecting the last member of the family to join in with them.

  • Is it $500 before after the discount is applied? Guessing after but thought I'd check.

    • Before discount, excluding shipping

    • +1

After discounts, GST (international items), and postage.

  • Does this stack with the Coles deal? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/486568

    • Received confirmation from ShopBack Rep; Coles eBay is excluded from Cashback.

      Also updated T&Cs.

  • +1

Wow, I was about to buy a phone for $500 but I thought I'd check here first… Thanks heaps!

  • +2

Dam, made a purchase totaled $510 free shipping, but found this in the terms and conditions :
Minimum spend amounts do not include GST, delivery and other fees.

And the GST is about $46.37 according to the past invoices, ooops, maybe I'll never get that cashback even I did the right amount.

    • Damn, thanks for the warning I was about to do the same.

    • +3

You will get $60. The GST thing refers to international items which charge you GST separately at check-out.

      • I just spent $508 in total, which included $30 in shipping. Will I get the $60 cash back?

        • +1

          Probably not

        • Your reported spend would be $478, thus you would only get $10 back.

      • Ah makes sense. Thanks

      • Looks like only $10.

        OP says
Spend: $30-$109.99 for a $3 Cashback Bonus, $110-$499.99 for a $10 Cashback Bonus OR $500+ for a $60 Cashback Bonus. Minimum spend amounts do not include GST, delivery and other fees.

But it is actually 'Minimum spend amounts do not include eBay promo discount part, GST(intenational items), delivery and other fees.'

It should not be called minimum spend amounts bla bla bla, should say something like minimum out of pocket amount ( excluding GST(intenational items), delivery and other fees.):)

    • +3

I've read this over again 15 times and still don't get what Shopback means by it. They need to either speak in simple terms - or - just increase the minimum purchase amount so they can discard this whole 'remember to work out GST and subtract it or you'll miss out' nonsense (if that's even what they're saying). These 'fine print' catches are almost certainly why more people don't take advantage of these deals.

      • Interesting for me solution is just spend $560 + to be sure and also think those spending $500 or not 10
% more on lower totals will miss out till further clarification from gotyourback !

  • Can we pay using gift cards like before?

    • +1

Purchases made redeeming a gift card are eligible.

Purchase of gift card are not.

      • Thanks. Just realised it was in original post. My bad.

  • Oh well, purchased $430 of stuff a few hours ago… would happily buy $500+ if I see this offer earlier.

  • Yep, ive only spent a total of $1800 since Monday thinking it was decent deals and no point in waiting longer.

Edit: why are 9900k's so damn overpriced on ebay? it's the only think im looking for a good deal for right now.

    • Try gumtree, I got my 8700k for $480 with a delid kit when I built my pc last year.

      • Havent seen a single one on gumtree facebook or ebay(used)

Im hoping for another deal similar to this https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/472768
my 9600k is ok for now so just keeping an eye out for another deal like above.

      • +1

        8700k for $480 OMG… i paid $465 for a "NEW" 3700X :) lol intel really is overpriced.

  • Damn, if only I waited a few more hours. This would have covered majority of the cost of express shipping for a new DC Jack for my laptop, which I need asap (laptop won't charge…)

  • Looks like Big W pulled their iPhone 11 deals from ebay just as this came live
    good timing if they didn;t….damnit

    • +2

I still see an iPhone 11 128gb White and a iPhone 11 64gb black on their ebay store.

      • Thanks!!! Just got it.

      • And all gone.

  • +1

I still have not received tracking of previous shopback eBay flash deal…it was reported on 6th October but never received a response.

Don't buy in temptation or in hope that you will receive cashback.

    Shopback tracking is not reliable.

    • Still waiting for mine too … Everything has come through in the end so far, but it’s always a bit of a nervous wait.

  • So is this already started from midnight or it will start from noon? :)

  • perfect timing after I spent 900% at TGG yesterday. haha

  • +2

Ooooo. Just bought items worth $200 day before… Missed $10 :(

  • Thanks I almost bought a $135 item from good guys eBay sale earlier this week but didn't pull the trigger.. Did now though 😉

  • So we have to manually figure out GST to ensure we reach the minimum?

    • e.g I want to purchase an item that is $118 with free shipping. Will I get $10 back or $3?

      $118 x 11 / 10 = $107.28

    • +1

GST situation would apply for just items located outside of Australia.

  • I may have missed it.

Is it one transaction per account?

  • Think I need a 4th "WD RED 8TB WD80EFZX"

From futu with it's 20% off and shopback deal, takes 94 off

$305 is a good deal yeah?

Or should I wait for black Friday /cyber Monday?

  • Stacks with the 1%? it does sorry didn't read the whole post

Will probably get the Xiaomi Mi 9T and a Logitech k400+

  • -2

Your not going to beat using this and a Ebay code and discount gift cards being possiblya 4 layer with store discount on Black Friday Bud !

  • how lucky, i bought something for $150 at 5am and used cashback for at least 1%. Hopefully i get this $3. Better than nothing.

    • shouldn't it be $10 cause you spent over $110?

      • it was actually $107 plus GST and Shipping. Then the total was $150

        • do international orders count towards shopback?

  • the deal last for a day kinda sucks cause im bidding for something that ends in a couple of days

  • Good offer, is there any iPhone 7 for around $500 and where I get $60 bonus?

  • What's worth buying ? xD

  • Is there a site 3% discounts?

    • You can give patpat a go.

  • If the initial price is $600 and then falls to $480 after eBay promo, would this be considered as a $600 or $480 purchase by Shopback?

    • 480

      • "Cashback bonus is stackable with all active promo codes on eBay"???

So it should be the price before the promo code?

        • +2

The rep said on last deal that only the amount after promo code is counted. Gift card is fine though. I'm still unsure about the GST part.

    • okay thanks.

    • Amount considered would the amount in owing. In your situation it's $480.

  • +3

Ebay Cashback deals started feeling like crap. Almost all Seller raised there prices by the exact value that we were getting Cashback for. For example I was looking to buy a new phone which one retailer listed for 1034$ until tommorow today the price is jumped to 1100$ which covers almost the 1% cashback and extra 60$ cashback. So don't see any point why all this deals.

  • +4

Regard GST part does it mean I need to spend at least $550 to be eligible?

    • +1

    • +2

If it's an item located overseas, correct.

  • +2

    Thanks. I think this gets Big W PS4 Pro down to about $360 with the 10% gift cards I had ($429-POTTER code =$416; pay with 10% GC =$374; ShopBack $10 +1% =$360).

  • Thanks OP, finally caved and grabbed a new Apple Watch. ~ $590 after Cashback and PETAL.

  • I hope they don't mean GST but the tax you pay on international purchases?

  • +1

I need to chase up the last offer. I never got the cashback. Just saying

  • Waiting for the $120 bonus for $1000+ spend deal, so I can finally purchase a laptop.

  • +1

Can I earn the cash back without installing eBay app? I mean I have shopback app and am I eligible if I just purchase via its built-in browser?

    • +4

      Yes.

      • Thanks for the reply. Order placed!

  • can someone tell me what's the GST excluded amount when I buy something $599 and use a 10% off discount?
will I be eligible for $60 cashback?

    • the amount I paid is $539.1 through Gift Card.

      • I did similar ( $1 more in spend) and should be safe base on there T&C's .

      • If your item was located overseas then the purchase amount would be $490 (assuming that delivery is free as well) and as such it would qualify for the $10 bonus tier.

  • Is this only via the phone app?

  • Can it be multiple items in the cart totalling $500+ or a single $500 purchase?

    • Good Question : Spend: $30-$109.99 for a $3 Cashback Bonus, $110-$499.99 for a $10 Cashback Bonus OR $500+ for a $60 Cashback Bonus. Minimum spend amounts do not include GST, delivery and other fees.

Limited to one bonus per customer. If you make multiple transactions in a single day, you will receive the bonus for the transaction with the highest purchase amount.

Last time was multiple items total spent at a merchant , needs a store rep to clarify to be certain . Until that happens 1 item within the range is the safest policy .

      • +5

This is the response I got from SB chat:

"Your purchase does not have to be from the same retailer. As long as the purchase is made within the same transaction."

So that would mean it doesn't need to be one item, just total cart value.

        • OK I'll try to contact them too and clarify further, cheers.

        • Good news :)

          • +3

@profar: Just confirmed with SB that it can be multiple items in the cart totaling $500+ :)
