So about a week ago, I got a credit from Woolworths for the $1 I had paid for my bags when I got delivery. Turns out, they are now at least crediting you $1 when you return your bags to your driver. You need to remind your driver, because this week, I didn't get my $1 credit until I emailed Woolies to remind them I'd returned my bags. So if you are still on the old Delivery system where they charge you for your bags, at least you can get the money back. First deal, so if I totally hosed this, sorry.
Refund for recycling Online reusable bags
We have a new refund option for customers who choose to have their online orders packed into our reusable plastic bags. When it’s time for your online reusable plastic bags to be recycled, simply hand them back to us for recycling with REDcycle while receiving a new online order and we’ll refund $1 against your latest order.
To do this, please pass the online reusable plastic bags to a Service Desk Team Member while collecting a new Pick up order in our stores, or to your Delivery driver when receiving a new Delivery order.
