It's been a while since a Humble Monthly was actually worthwhile.

    • +4

Amen brother man been waiting for cod wwii to be in a bundle and my answers were prayered.

      • +1

Got it on sale from Amazon and it's still in the wrap 😂 But Crash and Spyro already worth to subscribe this month.

        • +3

lol you just reminded me I have a few games still unwrapped xD thanks

yeah this month is a no brainer

pro tip if you have subscribed a month before just go to manage subscription and click pause a month then they will have an option to stay for a $2 off coupon.. since I already used my $5 off coupon for September and $3 off coupon for October I had none for this month November so I searched around and found nothing so tried the old playing hard to get tactic that sometimes works with other subscription services and wala it worked xD :)

          neat little trick :)

although a $5 or $8 off coupon would be nice but I got a bit impatient :)

honestly the extra games coming at the end of this month is just a bonus now the nice neat little cherry on top :)

          have a nice weekend yo

          • @AlienC: Nice tip, just got a $2 discount for pausing/resuming my sub.

          • @AlienC: What are the 5$ and 8$ coupons? I was a annual member a year or so ago and i stopped it a few months ago. Any coupons i can use to get this months bundle?

            • @lonewolf: I can't remember exactly now but the $5 off coupon could have been a referral or just random promo not sure sorry.

    • +4

      Battletech is actually pretty good.

      • I was tempted to get that last month.

    • +1

I feel that I have been getting value from them. I define value as: less than 25% of the full price of all the games I am interested in. Some games I have acquired on Humble Bundle in the past year have never been cheaper than $10 USD.

Humble Monthly has higher tier games than you find on standard Humble bundles, Fantatical, Groupees and IndieGala bundles (the latter 2 normally only have dross/shovelware games lately in their bundles).

Now all i need is a PlayStation style controller to connect and an old 4:3 monitor….

  • +3

Good Deal, been wanting to relive my childhood with these, really loved the Spyro series.

  • Are there people playing wwii or is it just for the story?

    • Call of Duty: Black Ops III (currently number one but could be because it combines single player and multiplayer into one game name one client)

      (Current Players 2,109 / 30-Day Avg. 1,308.3)

Call of Duty: WWII - Multiplayer (also counts afks and people who are dead with the game on.. wow that got dark af real fast)

Call of Duty: WWII (single player or people lost in lobby/main menu)

    • There will be zero ppl playing in Aus.

      • Sounds like there are two of you now baby!

        • +3

Haha nah already have WWII and never installing it again… Multiplayer was decent but died in Aus after about 4 months.

      • Not true.

I booted up COD WW2 multiplayer just this week. Played a bit on Monday and Tuesday evenings.

Easy to find a game with Australian players in Syd/Melb.

  • +1

Almost, almost feel like staying subscribed after this cracker of a month… but nah. Thanks OP!

  • Can you cancel within the month?

    • -2

You basically pay for the month and then after you can cancel anytime but keep the month you purchased including the bonus games for that month which are revealed bonus games at the end of the month or in this case November 1 (probably November 2 for us Australians but not exactly sure when the exact date is but basically end/start of each month).

So to answer your question yes you can cancel within the month but you can cheat the system and refund the month and get free games (I have tried lol XD)

      • +1

That makes no sense, how do you refund? And why would they refund you?? I'm confused.

        • +10

oh crap that was meant to say YOU CAN'T REFUND AND YOU CAN'T CHEAT THE SYSTEM AND DON'T GET FREE GAMES.. bah I can't edit my comment now but hopefully this comment clarifies that one.. yeah sorry I made a big bad typo .. man I need some sleep zzzzzz… x.x

  • Awh man, I just paid $29AUD for the Switch version of Crash delivered! :(

    • +16

But, you get to play Crash on the go.

      • +1

You can do that with a laptop too?

        • +1

Agreed. It's nice to be downvoted for saying something sensible by the switch fanboiiiiis though isnt it.

          • +1

@lordezekiel: I wasn’t sure why I was being downvoted honestly lol. I own a switch and don’t own a laptop but it made sense to me that a laptop means taking your games with you on the go. Can’t make everyone happy lol.
            It doesn’t bother me anyway.

    • Where did you find it for $29?

      • Amazon $39, then a $10 off coupon for first time app user as per this deal

  • -1

COD WWII has one of the best single player campaigns I’ve played for a FPS

    • Yeah it’s pretty hey.

      • +3

Not something you normally hear about WWII…

    • +8

Seriously? It was so boring I had to force myself to finish it.

    • You haven’t played much classics have you

    • Couldn't get past the tank level, The vehicle controls were a special kind of retarded and the ai was broken. Enjoyed the rest of it though

      • Lol me too I haven't picked it up since

    • battlefield campaigns are better than this…

  • Are steam codes given out for these games?

    • +4

      Yes

  • +1

Thanks OP. If you try cancelling your subscription, they offer you $3 off for the following month ($9 USD) which is pretty good value. I'll probably cancel after that.

    • $3 off but you don't get to see the early unlocks before you buy? Or can you wait until you see next month's early unlocks?

      • +1

I don't think you get to see them, so taking a chance in hope that they're decent.

        • Actually I've had more of a look - when you're subscribed it doesn't automatically pay until the end of the month. You can pay early to get the early unlocks, or you can cancel and not pay. My next billing date is 30th November, so I can cancel before then.

Also the $3 off is a coupon valid until 20th January apparently… So maybe you can cancel and use it for December or January instead? That part is speculation on my part.

      • If you go to cancel and get the $3 offer, take it and then immediately pause a month. That way you get to see the next month's early unlocks without going in blind, and can either grab it for cheap or cancel all the way and lose nothing.

        • So, if you've done this, then what's up for next month?

  • +4

Bruh. This is just worth it for Spyro. The PS1 Games were my childhood!
I was waiting for it go to on sale but this is even better!

    • +1

If you really want nostalgic vibes, there are a bunch of mods available to revert back to the original sound FX / music / dialogue instead of the remastered stuff :)

  • So I can subscribe for one month, download the 3 games, cancel immediately, and I own the games forever? Or I'll lose access to them after a month?

    • +3

      Yours to keep permanently.

      • Awesome! Thanks - never used humble bundle before, so wasn't sure.

    • +1

You will keep them. You get a steam key for each game
Edit: sorry didn't see someone else already replied

    • +1

Sometimes Humble has specials if you subscribe for a year instead of monthly; more likely around Christmas time. Unfortunately the Australian dollar is weakening and making digital purchases more expensive for us (thanks loser government).

  • +1

Free COD:WW2 gift for the first person to follow this link.
    https://www.humblebundle.com/gift?key=rMXRNMSxMSC2UVDX

Have fun fighting against all the black female German SS soldiers and all the other superb historical authenticity this game has to offer.

    • cheers!

    • +2

lol who's playing Call of Duty for it's authenticity? It's just a game - I can't believe anyone would even expect it to be realistic.

      • Yeah it's just another Call of Duty so my expectations aren't high to begin with - hence my giving it away for free.

  • +1

thanks op… added more games to my backlog lol

  • +1

so all three games are steam keys ??

  • +3

An extraordinary deal for Crash and Spyro, especially the latter as it has been out less than a month on PC. I bought them both on release and didn't regret a single millisecond.

  • +4

Purchased it and this came up on the downloads page:
"We're sorry, the Call of Duty Endowment Fear Not Pack and Call of Duty Endowment Bravery Pack are not available in your region."

    • Only available in US and UK

  • +1

Um, okay. This is an unbelievable deal…like wtf.

  • +2

I bought and played through Spyro at launch, full price was a bit much but at $12 this bundle is worth it for that alone. Never bought Crash Bandicoot but have been meaning to and can't say no at this price. The only CoD I haven't played is a nice bonus.
If anyone wants my Spyro key it's 4J6KY-4IYF3-LLRKW - hope it's ok to post here, if not mods please remove :)

    • Cheers for the spyro!

      • +1

Your username is a little too like Kinguin and here you are getting cd keys :p

  • Thanks OP, just purchased this great deal! I also immediately unsubscribed from Humble.

I don't want the WWII code. I'm new to steam and PC gaming as a whole - What are my options? Can I give it to another user?

  • Are crash and spyro worth playing if you never played the originals? (I was an N64/Xbox guy)
    Or is it mostly nostalgia?

    • +5

Yes, for that price I'm sure you will get your money's worth

    • +1

Crash is still loads of fun if you're new to it, have a piss up with mates and play some crash

    • My only exposure to crash was from Uncharted 4. It was not fun to play. I don't know if the whole game is like that, but it involved running toward the screen, being unable to see where you're going, and avoiding obstacles you can't see coming. It's trial and error gameplay. You die, then have to remember where that trap is on your next life, only to step into another trap. I don't know how anyone can find this fun but maybe that was only one stage and the other stages have you forward instead of towards you.

      • +1

I know the stages you are talking about and while they arent great they certainly aren't 'trial and error', its more quick reflex and being able to stay unpanicked even though the ball is chasing you.
But yeah there are only a few levels like that in the game and that is absolutely not close to the norm of how the game works.

  • Hmm can I use my wallet credit to partially pay for this?

    • I'm pretty sure that the credit cannot be applied on bundles.

      • damnit, need to waste it by Dec 31 and I've never gotten anything from HB that wasn't a bundle -_-

  • I already have COD WWII, does anyone have a copy of the Black Ops 4 Humble monthly they didn't use? I'd be willing to trade if anyone is also.

  • THanks Op, just got this. Whilst I haven't yet unsubscribed, is there any incentive to do it now or wait? It says next billing date is late November?

I also had a peek at this Treasure Trove thing and it's got a lot of DRM free games to download… any worthwhile ones?

  • +1

Do I only have access to these games for the month or do they remain in my Steam library forever even after cancelling the subscription?

    • +1

You keep them forever. It stays in your steam account.

      • Another newbie question: If I sign up today and cancel straight away, do I get 30 days which means I should be able to get the November bundle too?

        • no. it is based on calendar month, not 30 day periods.

  • Does crash come with the 2 DLC bonus levels?

Does it have achievements as well?

was holding off to buy it on xbox but might be better to just get it on PC

EDIT: apparently the two bonus levels are inbuilt into the PC version

  • If anyone wants to split crash im willing to pay. Cheers!

  • amazing, love these games

  • I did the re-sign up for the monthly and clicked out of the "Pay Early" prompt and instead did the cancel subscription and was offered the $3 off next month coupon so clicked accept offer, now it has "Coupon will be used at next payment"

great way to save those couple of bucks making it only $9 USD.

  • +1

Have a COD and Crash to spare. PM me

  • +2

COD code for anyone interested: BQ85Q-BB5IK-JKW6W

    • +1

      thanks very much. i redeemed.

  • Anyone have crash?

  • Bought this for the month. When should I cancel the subscription so I dont pay for next month?

  • I bought this last month, and I can't seem to be able to access this months' subscription - even though it says I am still an active subscriber?

  • Anyone not want Spyro from the bundle? Somehow missed this deal. Loved playing it back in the day so would be happy to pay for it.
