Nevermind, looks pretty average, not gold plated. It can't be good quality if DSE are selling two for $15, considering they have higher profit margins. you'd be much better getting two of these for $9.75

the cable you have linked will do full high def 1080p, but may or may not work for high def 1080p 3D. and yes your right I think thats a better deal than Dick Smith

I think i've also got a 2m 1.4 cable from playtronics, does the job well for $6 shipped if I remember correctly.
