Was looking at a first geared, all round kids bike came across this. Not a bike expert but looks decent. Don't forget 5% CR.

    What are you talking about? This is a kids bike.

    Heavy because it is cheap and nasty. As always at Anaconda, RRP is a joke.
    This price sounds about right.

      Listing does indicate the frame specs as "6061 Alloy with low standover height", implying it's lighter than a steel kmart equivalent?

        It does look better than the K-mart models :)

        You do want cheap for a kids bike, as they soon outgrow them.
        My kid has similar bike for riding to school. Not sure how far I would trust it off-road.

  Got a similar bike for my youngest. Just a note that the revoshift (gripshift) tend to be notoriously hard for kids to actually use. Both my kids had trouble. Ended up grabbing some cheap trigger shifters from Pushys and swapping them which solved the issue. Mind you that was 7 speed, not sure if trigger shifters are available for 6 speed.
