Thanks OP. Bought the $96 non-hammer one. I have the impact driver+batt+charger from a previous deal so this is a great oppurtunity to get a matching drill driver, 2 new batteries, extra charger and a legit carry case. Heads up - Shopback have 8% cashback for tools at amazon.

Got 2 pack from the Masters deal too :D
I like this drill and is well worth $95

        • Wow I remember that deal. Alas I bought my impact a bit before that as part of a $99 total tools deal with the skin and bonus battery and charger.

  • How does this compare to a similar drill driver by Ryobi? I've been thinking of buying the Ryobi for a while.

You should buy the Milwaukee 18v

Good Question. It's a bit hard to compare because the brushless Ryobi kit from Bunnings currently sells at $270 (lol).

Stanley is a mid tier brand from SB&D seated below Dewalt but above Black & Decker. Ryobi is a home user brand from TTI and seated below AEG and Milwaukee. Specs seem similar from both drills and I doubt either of them would stand up to significant commercial use. I haven't seen either at commercial worksites.

I haven't used them side-by-side but I imagine they'd be pretty much equivalent. Ryobi seems to have a wider family of 18v tools but they also overcharge for their batteries. Some Stanley kit is compatible with their sister brands by altering the plastic keyway but they have a worse availability of skins.

  • All gone must have been sold out, price error or short-term discount?
