  It has no audio or speakers so HDMI is not necessary.
  You can just stick one of these converters into the monitor and leave it there as a permanent fixture:
  
  DVI Male to HDMI Female M-F Converter $1.51 AUD
  
  this will let you use a HDMI cable with a DVI port.

AOC is very underrated brand. My 22" AOC screen has not missed a beat in 3 yrs and I use it daily.

Would be good if it didn't have the ports on the base itself… Just be careful of that.
