OP not aware just another BS RRP on whole range boosting sales with everyone thinking its cheap at 50 % off .

Be just be another brand rotating 50% off at all major retailers .

    • +4

Are you saying this is cheaper elsewhere or you can get better alternatives?

    • That was 2017 and there was a bit of backlash, I assume/hope they’ve upped their game?

      • -1

Why take risk if you have similar options available? Nivea is also available at same price at Coles this week

    • They seem to all be spray on

I've abandoned banana boat even though it is a rare find: cheap and not tested on animals / no animal ingredients. My youngest kid is pretty sun sensitive and always burns with banana boat. I'd take their SPF rating lightly.

I recommend before buying this go to chemist warehouse and do a spot test because I was allergic to it and wasted my money. 😂

  • cancer council if you prefer health over price.

Cancer council sunscreen is the worst. Gives kids third degree burns.

I believe Nivea is the best.

      • Evidence of either claim?

        • You clearly don't watch the news or can google?

          It's happened on several occasions.

Choice also did a big test on sunscreens. Stick with Nivea, some skin cannot absorb 50FPS+. It's quite in depth as to how the chemicals in sunscreen work.

Cancer council now says sunscreen shouldn't be used on babies yet they sell them for babies and it's the last line of defence for anyone else.

          • @[Deactivated]: You must look at different google results to me, because nothing I read supports either of your original claims.

Might want to improve your skills..

Can tell you don't have kids either as I think every parent in Australia knows this. Even MCHC (MCH) warn parents.. then again they warn them against Johnson and Johnson products too.

              • @[Deactivated]: You are one clever guy.

From my posts you are able to deduce that:

                • I don't watch TV

                • I can't (use) google

                • I don't have kids

None of which, just like your original claims, are correct.😋

  • Burn baby burn!

    Sorry… Too soon

Banana boat has been caught many times providing less protection than advertised :/ I don’t trust them , prefer C council products or other various brands available who actually honest about spf rating

Have been using this brand for years and does the job; I put it on and don’t get sunburnt.

The sprays are damaging to coral, so if you're going into the water, the regular slap on would be best.
