Do these guys ever have deals for existing customers or do Ozbargainers just keep making new accounts?

    • I think I ordered as a guest, not sure if I have an account?

    • I believe you can only use 1 voucher per delivery address

      • Correct. I made the mistake of getting a groupon for boozebud (which is usually better value than the sign up offer) before realising I can't ship to same address. Guess it's a one-order-per-household kind of business because the prices are no good without the discount.

Luckily Groupon gave me a credit refund which I used on cheap movie tickets.

        • I’ve ordered from these guys about nine months ago. Delivered to my home address. Does that mean I can’t use the groupon voucher? I’ve never used the groupon voucher before for this website.

          • @apu: That's correct. I tried, and it wouldnt let me even with a new name and boozebud account. Not sure how share houses would work and people moving houses..

      • Yeah, I got caught last time. The OP has the 'New Customers Only' bit in Step 1 with Groupon, where really it should be in Step 2 with Boozebud. I was a new Groupon customer but had used BoozeBud before, so my coupon was rejected.

      • Correct, although I have done this twice by using (suburb) and (suburb) west. Unsure if it's a great idea to risk it but I had brought a second one without reading the terms and did what I had to.

      • Just sign up new account and manually enter delivery address, Change it a little.. I've done it several times..

You need a new Groupon and boozebud account. I Use take name signing up but delivery name real and phone number

This is the Boozebud Existing Customer Offer on Groupon - www.groupon.com.au/deals/boozebud-5
-Five $10 credit vouchers with free shipping for each (min spend $69 per voucher) - valid for five separate orders

(Note: Commenter is associated with Groupon)

      • Nice - just dusted off my groupon acct
        thx

    • yeah they do, but for existing customers there's always a caveat like min $100 or min $150 spend.

    • Try entering the address manually - that seemed to bypass it for me

We did the same, me and the wife got a coupon each. I didn't know they whouldn't deliver to the same address so had the 2nd order delivered to the neighbour (we asked first). The courier turned up and we said the other was for us too, he checked the names and handed it over - too easy.

now we know how daddy pig got his big tummy

  • Received an email today from Boozebud said all credit I got from previous purchase will expire on 01/11/2019.

I live chat with them and got below reply.

    Hey

Thats correct; the cash back credit will expire on the 1st of November. We currently have a double referral credit scheme though! So you can invite some Boozebuddies to use our service and receive a massive kickback: https://www.boozebud.com/account/refer They get a great new customer deal out of it too ;) Any credit that our staff have applied or has been gained by a referral will not be expiring.

    Any questions let me know!

    • Received the same 1/11/19 store credit expiry notice too. Chose my store credit over cash refund around February this year after they sent me short dated stock. Thought it was pretty wrong of them to decide to impose, on short notice, an expiry date much shorter than the NSW legal period of 3 years. That's just not on.

      • My last purchase was in this month, got $6 credit. That means the credit only last for one month.

        • So wrong. I just used up my credit. Unlikely to buy from them again.

  • Thank you. Lets hope these are these Japan made one…

SWEEEET! - the Mrs slightly disproves of my drinking - but when I casually said last week that there was a deal for them much cheaper then Dans - she looked at me as if to say - "Stooopid - why didn't you get it…….." - so today I got some! - thanks "onetwothree"!!

(FYI - I bet I'll get a look tonight of - "Why did you buy booze on the Credit Card!"…….ahhh well damned if I do….. at least is can say I saved around $19)

  • Got on it,

    Thanks OP

  • How does Boozebud make any money? I just bought a case of 6 Longmorn for $215. (was $255, but bought the $50 voucher for $10). Usually a single bottle of the Longmorn goes for at least $100 each!

Plus Amex statement credit if you have that and want to spend more at boozebud.
    Spend $100 get $25 back.

    • +1! I just did this, bought a carton of asahi & a carton of newtowner. Got cashback 7.61 & the amex deal $25. Awesome!

      • Cashback on the groupon purchase? I checked and it says no cashback when paying with a Groupon voucher.
Worried I'm missing out on something.

  • The "new customers only" thing with Boozebud is a serious turn off for me now.

    • its only a turn off after the second time haha

  • Is there any way to search the site sorted by price?
I want to make an order close to $60 to get the maximum discount

  • Thank you, OP.

  • Is it new customers to Boozebud or new to Groupon?

    • +1

New to Boozebud (worked using my existing Groupon account)

      • Dang, I was hoping it was the other way round.

  • +1

Instructions too difficult bought some Oettinger accidentally instead

  • Country of origin on these brew 500ml isn't Japan right?

    • +1

Mine from last Boozebud deal certainly said brewed in Japan.

    • +4

The 500ml cans are always from Japan the 330ml bottles are always from China

      • Oh I thought only 2L only was Japan. Cool thanks

  • Would Dan Murphy 'price match' this deal do ya think?

    • Ring and ask. But I'm doubtful.

  • I have brand new Glenfiddich 15 to sell pm if interested. Facebook marketplace won’t let me list it.

  • I'm late to the party. But I've been watching their website like a hawk. They had one case come into stock this afternoon and I snagged it with my voucher!
