    • maybe 36cm vs 33cm?

    • That is the 36cm. You can tell by the height adjustment handle. The one OP linked to is the 33cm and normal price.

    33cm is $299
    36cm is $399

I don't recommend the 18v, unless you mow like a very tiny yard. It's just not powerful enough.

    I recommend the 36v, it's miles better.

    • Strong enough for the nature strip?

not the size yard but more the height/type of the grass, if you got thick grass (eg buffalo) this going to struggle. 36v going to be quite a price jump ($399 just battery alone) and probably not worth it if you only have council strip to mow. If you have front and backyard then it going to be worth it in the long run (to invest in a 36v that is)

        • It definitely depends on the grass type and length.

My mate has a big yard and his 18v works just fine.

Mind you, his lawn is like a bowling green. A battery mower glides over it.

I hate mowing so my lawn is always a bit overgrown. My 18v copes but would prefer if the grass was shorter.

    • 100% agree, we upgraded to the 36v after having this model get bogged down a dozen times every time we mowed. 36v makes a huge difference.

  • Can confirm that the 33cm 18V has been $299 for some time. $275 is for the skin only.

  • i have the 36V and would suggest this is the best option anything less will be useless.

depends on how big the lawn and often you would mow

      • i have between 150 and 200m2. Grass isn't amazing quality though and grows pretty quickly with some thicker weedier bits. To be cut maybe every 3 weeks to keep it at a nice length. 36V would suffice? petrol seems overkill for sure :P
