Most men have a figure that requires larger fit jeans (remember, the average Australian is overweight). I'm not overweight, but I am 186cm and also like a bigger fit. Besides, not everyone wants to look like a metrosexual. Google "Levi's 1800s" and see what the old school jeans looked like. They were big and baggy.

@nikoris: Outlets normally have lines that are overstock/ end of run, so a rolling "discount" is expected. I don't think it's a legality thing. Just a guess.
