$10 for referee and $10 for referrer, after referee makes $20 purchase within 14 days.
Wait, tell me more (I missed it, didn't I)
OMG I can't believe I missed out.
I was getting drenched by the rain at Thredbo whilst this was happening.
I still have 3k in eBay gift cards to use but 18.6% OMG!
@Yanoflies: Don’t worry there was a lot of people that spent hours getting errors and didn’t get anything so u might have saved yourself some time.
@Slo20: There were many others who succeeded too. 1200 votes doesn’t come from nothing
@ATangk: I was making him feel better… I got my gift cards 😬
@ATangk: Way to kill the mood🧐
@cheng2008: Theres no prize for second place.
@ATangk: ):<
@ATangk: Actually a lot of times votes do come from nothing, Many times people vote without ever trying to or being able to redeem the deal. I know some people did in this case but that doesnt mean 1200 people did.
@Slo20: I'm one. Wasted so much time, now wasting more complaining.
@[Deactivated]: :'(
Worst fear now is if amazon starts spitting out amazing deals and ebay keeps its sales at bay
lol everyone's been waiting for Amazon for quite some time…
It's pretty clear by now that Amazon doesn't care.
Use your eBay gift cards to buy Amazon gift cards XD
You're assuming everyone purchased eBay gift cards.
yes for the people who loaded up on gift cards
Yes, and for some reason my last transaction has not yet been approved by Australia Post (even though they have activated my gift cards). I wouldnt buy eBay at 5% off again.
Last deal was a month ago. You mean it hasn't even tracked?
No. Had to raise a special request for cash rewards to track it but until Aus post validate it, no cashback offered. So I'll have to wait n if they don't, I paid full price for gift cards pointlessly.
Still waiting for my $1k to track more than a month later.
Wouldn't bother.
EDIT:
Ah this is CR, I did mine via Shopback.
CashRewards always work for me.
ShopBack on the other hand … I'll stick with CR
Using the SB app it works for me (even via the AmaOn app). CR…OTOH..a bit hit & miss and usually pays less.
you got it the wrong way around.
wait a minute, are we both saying they are both scammers and not tracking and its just a lottery whether they pay out?
or is it a function of the web browser, using our friend google's product seems to have more misses with all their 'secret features' to break the referral
Ironically, qantas shopping ALWAYS track! even those mysterious high value items that CR and SB seem to forget about.
So according to this I can only use one voucher at a time?
https://www.ebay.com.au/help/buying/paying-items/vouchers-di…
If I am to purchase a $550 GFX card, the maximum I can save using voucher is only $5 ($5 of the $100 voucher)?
You can use upto (I believe) 8 gift cards ($5 off $100) AND one other voucher/coupon.
No more than a total of $1500 in Gift Cards may be redeemed per transaction, no more than a total of $2000 in Gift Cards may be redeemed per day, and no more than a total of $5000 in Gift Cards may be redeemed per calendar month. Further, you may only redeem a maximum of eight Gift Cards in any single transaction (and fewer if you are redeeming Gift Cards in combination with other redemption codes, such as coupons or vouchers)
Maybe you should try one day as its up to 20 cards without a code .
Thanks! So gift cards are not considered vouchers (limit of 1). Perfect!
Will buy some now, given that I missed the 20% off deal!!!
Keeps coming back with Error with Credit card for me
Does this work for Australia Post Mastercard gift card?
The fee is more than 5%?
Fee is $5.95 flat as far as I can see on their website. Possible saving of $19.05 on a $500 gift card.
Do you know where, or have a link to buy it on Australia Post?
@Miroslav: It says in-store, so you can't get cashback that way..
PSA: Upon receiving and activating over the phone, check the balance on https://www.ebay.com.au/gft/balance ASAP. I bought 7 x $100 via the Shopback 5% deal a few weeks ago. Rang up Auspost to activate them last week. About 24 hours later, when I tried to use them, one of the 7 of them came up as $0 balance. Contacted eBay and currently still waiting for their Giftcard team to investigate. Auspost won't do anything to help.
Having gone through more than a lot some after activation definitely are 0 in batches where all the others are fine .
I’m thinking some hackers have cracked the code .
Bought, now waiting for good deals for AIB 5700 XT and MSI B450m Mortar Max to come up on $Bay
I'll trust Cashback over Shopback any day.
here is my experience with shopback.
I wouldn't trust Shopback. I didn't get my cashback.
First I was told that my purchase wasn't valid because I didn't use the app, then I sent a screenshot of my original purchase in the ebay app.

Then Nicholas told me which SKU are valid, and somehow that is supposed to be clarified. I'm more confused, are you saying the Sudocrem I bought from BabyBunting Ebay is not valid. It definitely is one of the valid SKUs, read the comments, heaps the ozbargainers bought it too.

Original Cashback Failed, First email unsuccessful, second email no idea why Nicholas is telling me the valid SKUs without telling me if my one is valid. The chances where Shopback could have fixed the problem, and they can't. I'm still out of pocket.
You sound just like me. Shopback has never paid me greater than 30c, so I didn't get a couple hundred I think. I chased it up and was professionally fobbed off.
They can keep it, I just wish Ozbargain Mods would ban them.
Cashrewards has been fair for years.
had the same with CR, fobbed off by CR support and then ridiculed on OZB for saying that CR were no good. Weird huh?
then I found out that it was browser dependant, each company having its compatibility quirks (but never trust google chrome as they steal referrals)
using internet explorer or the SB APP (mobile or firefox) has been pretty good. KISS principle.
oh yes, qantas shopping tracks EVERYTIME. go figure
Is CR having some glitches? I bought 2k but the tracking showing as $2 with cashback amount is $0.10 ?!?
yeah I got that too,
ill just raise he support ticket once theyve all tracked
This should all be sorted and your CR acct should reflect the correct amounts. Thanks.
Hi samehada. We're aware of a glitch where Australia Post has reported a handful of transactions to us with incorrect sale amounts and we're hopeful to have this sorted soon. Will report back when I have an update. Thanks.
Also got this glitch, bought $1k but tracking showing $1 with cashback of $0.04
This should all be sorted and your CR acct should reflect the correct amounts. Thanks.
Thanks, have checked and it is now correct.
Cheers TA
@oldmate: Thanks for confirming.
This should all be sorted and your CR acct should reflect the correct amounts. Thanks.
I'd rather get 4% off with Suncorp with certainty, than 'maybe' get 5% off with the sporadic cashback system being used universally.
purchased $1000 giftcard. cash rewards tracked as $1 purchase with 0.05c back. you must be joking on me.
Has everybody received their gift cards? I am still waiting.
You'd better call them up.
The cashback takes 3 months to confirm is quite a deal breaker. Gift card can't be returned but the cashback waiting time is way too long.
Wrong time everyone's choking on 18.6 % off discount Ebay Cards :)
