Dynaudio Speaker Stands (Demo Units, Gloss/Satin White): Stand 3X $149 (Pair), Stand 6 $249 (Pair) Delivered @ Addicted To Audio

Important:

Please check the measurements of stands (height / base and top-plate dimensions) and check your speaker’s physical measurements (and desired speaker height) to ensure the stands are of correct height & to ensure the speakers will sit on the spikes of the stands. The stand’s base dimensions will determine the minimum amount of floor-space the stands will require.

Addicted-to-audio also provides an further $10 discount for first-time customers who sign up.

Please be aware the link states they are ’clearance demo units’ & are available in gloss / satin white only, therefore please call your local store to secure stock.
Elsewhere the Stand 3X’s are going for around $400, and the Stand 6’s for around $700.

Dynaudio stands at a bargain price. Stands come supplied with spikes, have concealed cable design and can be filled with dry sand or other dampening material.
The Stand 3X’s have a slanted pillar & the Stand 6’s are conventional up-right (straight) pillar design.
I expect the Stand 6’s to be more acoustically-inert, when empty or filled.
The Stand 3X seem to be very slightly angled.

Dynaudio Stand 3X - $149 Delivered

Image: Side profile.

The perfect choice for Dynaudio compact loudspeaker models and is also ideally suited for many other monitor speakers. With its slightly tilted profile and elliptical column, the Stand 3X offers a modern, dynamic shape, while its high-quality lacquer finish (available in a choice of High-gloss White, High-gloss Black, Silver or Black) will elegantly complement any interior. The Stand 3X cable management system neatly conceals the speaker cable (or the power cord in the case of the Xeo), as it is routed from under the base plate up through a separate channel in the column. The slim yet durable steel and aluminium construction is torsion-resistant and very stable, while the three-layer base plate features a special damping sheet to eliminate resonance. The Stand 3X columns can also be filled with sand or any other suitable damping material for additional damping and extra mass. Loudspeakers can be positioned on the Stand 3X top plate using either the supplied soft damping stickers or the supplied spikes. The lower base plate is also fitted with spikes, which are adjustable in order to achieve a perfect foundation on un-level floors. The Stand 3X allows your Dynaudio compact loudspeaker to perform at its highest level of sound quality.

With its wing-shaped aluminum column, tapered top and base plates and internal cable management system, the Stand 6 yields a modern appearance from any loudspeaker. But in contrast to many other design-oriented speaker stands, the Dynaudio Stand 6 was also engineered to improve the loudspeakers' performance: The highly-rigid, low-mass aluminum columns are internally braced, while the top plates and base plates feature a three-layer construction with a special damping sheet to eliminate resonance. The Stand 6 column can also be filled with dry sand or any other suitable damping material for further damping and additional mass.

The loudspeaker cable can be neatly concealed, running directly through the base plate into the channel in the rear section of the column, and re-appearing just underneath the top plate. The openings are wide enough to allow virtually all cable and connectors to go through. Loudspeakers may be positioned on the Stand 6 top plate using either the included soft damping stickers or the supplied spikes. The lower base plate is also fitted with spikes, which are adjustable in order to achieve a perfect foundation on un-level floors.

The Dynaudio Stand 6 is available in a choice of High-gloss White or Silver finishes, allowing it to perfectly complement any loudspeaker and any room or décor.

    If only in black!

After 3-6 months of use when you are sure they are acoustically solid. Just throw away the warranty and paint them yourself (with some nice quality paint I might add).
Note: be careful of the spike / mounting holes, as the extra thickness added by the paint may affect their size.

  • Edit - I see the title has been updated to specify price is for a pair.

    Shame about the colours available.

Hah, somehow I read it as 3x 2 so 6 stands in the deal.

      • So did I. And I though 6 pairs (12 stands) for $249. I'll try to make it clearer. How's that?

        • Thanks for the edit. I made the ‘X’ in ‘3X’ capital as to try to make it clear it is a product name / number.

  • Friend, ex-demo in the title.

    • Comment below suggests new-stock may be available at the same price.

When it comes to solid metal stand’s though, I think ‘demo’ applies a lot less compared to something used & electronic.

  • Should call up and check if there is any new stock left. I picked up a Stand 6 from Kew last week and it was at this price and brand new. Quality stands, both the base and top have a weight plate sandwiched in the middle. Shame they didn't have black…

  • I use whisky cardboard containers filled with sand and wrapped in vinyl… works good and you get free whisky.

    • The free whisky is actually an illusion from drinking too much whisky.

  • Hard to believe they were $449…

    (Someone had to say it…)

    • I can link much more expensive….

  • Just came across this again so thought I would leave it here.
    Dynaudio - Stands video

  • Hi everyone, just to clarify.
I made an edit last night regarding the slight ‘angle’ of the Stand 3X.
Just in case you missed it, upon inspecting the side-profile picture of the Stand 3X it appears the top-plate is very slightly titled up.
