The ideal weighted blanket would weigh 10% of your bodyweight, but they are suitable from 5% – 15% of your bodyweight.

A Weighted Blanket is not recommended for children under 2 years of age. Please make sure your child can safely remove the blanket themselves before using

Our premium made weighted blanket is carefully filled with glass beads, each sewn into individual compartments which produces a perfectly distributed weighted blanket. The glass beads are completely noise free, allowing for a quiet and peaceful night’s sleep.

The outer blanket is a beautiful , soft and warm Minky Fabric, that also breaths allowing the excess heat out. Perfect for a nice cosy night’s sleep, or just a bit of calm down time on the couch. If preferred, the outer blanket can be changed in warmer weather to a beautiful breathable cotton cover, which can be purchased separately. Alternatively the inner blanket can be used without the cover.

The blankets are machine washable. Wash the blanket and cover separately on a cold wash.

      During eBay 20% sale I got one for 9kg from $100 -> 80ish.

      If you eBay search for weighted blanket the price seems to be around the $100 mark - so not sure $200 price offers much value.

        There are a lot of different brands and qualities available. I cannot comment on other blankets on the market, but our blanket comes with the inner blanket, the minky cover and a bonus cotton cover for warmer months. Having a cover over the inner blanket keeps the inner blanket clean avoiding having to wash the inner blanket, and only needing to, in most cases, wash the covers.
