  • Even scarier is that the "regular" price is $2250 and $2800 respectively.

    OUCH!!

  • WEI is meaningless and can be faked in a number of ways.

Not really a bargain, because there is no comparison, and even if you make make an educated comparison, umart is cheaper.

      Hi chemix88,

As we are a Microsoft OEM, we don't manually enter Windows Experience Index scores.

      • You really have no idea what you are talking about…

      • Hi Corwin,

Not saying that you do, however just because you use Microsoft OEM software doesn't mean you can't. You still haven't provided a response on how this is a bargain when comparable hardware and services is cheaper. Until you do, I think you are causing your company more harm than good.

Corwin, let me break it down for you mate.

I've looked at your product, your website, as well the nature/quality/quantity of your responses and here's the deal - you look/sound young and you've put this idea together and started a new company - so good on you for making something of your life and giving this a red hot go.

What you offer is a niche product, which for the right customer (generally not so technologically inclined) will be a great product. But as you may already have ascertained by the last 100+ posts from fellow ozbargainites, some technologically savvy, some keyboard warriors and some who moonlight as pseudo lawyers, this deal is not really for us.

Now if you're smart, I have read several things on the first page of comments (even amongst the negative stuff) that can be taken as good learning advice for you to take away and work on - both in terms of marketing as well as product development. Use all the feedback here and harness that to launch your business to great success.

Lastly and from this point, I suggest rather than continuing this deal thread, responding to the comments (impulsively, defensively or otherwise) and only subjecting yourself to potentially more neg votes, instead create a new topic in the forum, place a link here and politely pick ozbargainers brains who are willing to give you their precious time to fine tune your offerings.

I wish you good luck in your venture and who knows one day you might even be able to do a HTPC deal that tickles the fancy of ozbargain's discerning members.

    • Hi ccrap,

I want to thank you a lot for your feedback and suggestions. Indeed we have a lot to learn and we'll definitely think through all the comments and suggestions here.

      Thanks again.
