umart always does this to me, i post what i think is a good deal then umart decide to be the lowest price
yeah, but the Asus one should have 3 years warranty versus 2 years on the ASRock
The linked umart listing says 36 month warranty.
Is it wrong to be aroused by curves?
Is it wrong to be strong?
If it's wrong to be strong, I don't want to be right.
It seems this code PLAN20 has expired, not futu online switched to code
PSPRUNG
instead
Got this for $560 last week
where? obviously wasnt posted here then.
Yeah it was I'm kicking myself that I didn't get it but I think it was for eBay plus members
Computer Alliance eBay.
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/482261It's been on here a few times, at least twice in a deal and mentioned other times in comment sections for other 5700 XT deals.
Good pricing for a card currently ranked 7th
Especially considering the 3 top cards run far north of $1,000 and the other 3 above it are EoL (tmk).
Why I have not upgraded from my SLI 1080TI setup over to the 2080TI, but Cyberpunk and ray-tracing may force me eventually.
With all luck we see high tier AMD card drop before April next year. Absolute worst case Nvidia'll I've to drop the price of the 2080s and 2080ti a fair bit.
Rank 4 to 7 are .3 of a score difference too.
Picked one of these up last week at $560. For the money it is exceptional. Yes it blows hot air out the back of it, but that’s what it is designed to do. If you have a big case, go aftermarket cooler but for smaller cases this reference design is ideal. 1440p and even 4K on some titles is not a problem for this card.
Hi mate, I'm interested in obtaining a smaller case (mATX or itx) - can you explain why the blower style is better?
Shoots the hot air out the back rather then into an already confined space. Means your other hardware isn’t compromised due to the heat emission of the GPU.
Thank you.
Not the best price I have seen it cheaper
Compare this to 2 fans or 3 fan design. How much worse is this reference card?
10 fps (compared to say 5700 XT STRIX from ASUS) , and some noise. the reference card is noisy
Where did you pull 10 fps difference out of? I'm assuming your arse because your comment is similar to what normally comes out of it.
@louisoz: I never considered the very high fps games, such as Overwatch, but the majority of games won't benefit by 10fps, even that video shows most of the time it isn't. That review by Hardware Canucks seems to be an anomaly, most reviews give the difference at 5% improvement or less. I hope Hardware Canucks didn't use different drivers between those tests.

The AIBs are noticeably cooler and quieter.
They are also slightly overclocked and give a 1-3 extra FPS.
Try to hold off buying a new card till they have av1 decoding encoding.
Thanks for this, just looked up av1 and the v against hevc. Good to know, most content I get is hevc but I want a video card to also do Plex so having onboard encode/decode I think for av1 would futureproof? Is required?
I decided to get the rx 5700 over the xt as it had a far better price to performance but thats expected when you get to higher end cards.
Same here. The AIB 5700 cards don't even offer that much in performance too.
How does it compare to a (my) Vega 56? Would this hit 60FPS 4K in 2019 games like Rage 2, etc on reasonably high settings.
$599 pickup for the Asrock version at umart.
