$742.30 for the Hot Water System + $698.46 for installation. We're pretty transparent with our pricing - no suprises or hidden extras. We dont up-sell on-site to the customer. We even beat Bunnings prices.
Its not upfront the deal says 742 and nothing in the title or description about install. This deal sucks.
So $1440.76 (considering you cant install it yourself).
All very well, but then you’re advertising the heater with installation for ~$1140, not „$742.30 heater + installation” :)

Is the installation price for swapping out an existing tank or a fresh new system; if it's only a swap out, how many hours would be involved?
At Rapid Hot Water, we sell + install reputable and trusted brands like Rinnai and Rheem. If you are looking for someone to install a spare tank you have purchased somewhere else, we advise that you contact your local plumber.
I'll rephrase- If I buy a tank + installation from you, is the $698.46 the cost for swapping out an old tank (99% of pipework already installed), or a whole new system (say on a new house).
If it's only replacing an existing tank, how many hours would be involved?
Our advertised 'install price' applies to existing pipework and we provide enough copper piping to install the hot water system in a similar location at your home. If you require much more pipework then give us a call on 1300 205 539.
@rapidhotwater: $700 seems a lot of money for a few extra fittings (if needed at all), plus a couple of meters of pipe (if needed at all).

INCLUDES: Labour (2 men) - isolate the power, drain your old tank, disconnect old system, move it to the side, unpack the new system, install the new system, then test it.
INCLUDES: TPR safety and tempering valves (required by law)
INCLUDES: Copper piping, fittings and consumables
INCLUDES: Delivery of the new hot water system
