Us regional scum aren't worthy of this deal. 75km from 3000 GPO (as a crow flies)

    • +3

Yeah I have read some comments where Amazon reps have said it's a bug, I have my doubts though.

Luckily there's still Woolies and BIG W.

      • +6

Its not a bug, they actively stopped shipping address being changed to regional when items are in the cart. Toll "contract" must have got sticky because the underpaid drivers damaged 1 in 4 deliveries because underpaid amazon employees didn't pack it well enough. YAY profits.

        • +1

          100% this is the case.

Used to be able to sign back up to these via incognito mode, but now it fails at checkout.

        • To be fair to Toll they only damaged 2 drink items.

Had at least a dozen damaged drink cans or bottles which were from Australia Post.

It got to the point where they would just be returned to sender automatically instead of coming to me damaged.

      • Cheers for the Woolies and Big W info.

It where ill have to pick up mine for now as well.

    • That’s shit

  • i prefer this as you dont get cardboard from amazon

    • -1

THEY NEVER SEND ME CARDBOARD WITH THE LARGER 48PK EITHER

  • +5
  • How do these compare to Costco Kirkland ones ?

  • +2

Amazon dont deliver in my regional hub anymore. Wtf

  • +1

What is the price per 100 sheets? They seem to obscure that so people cant compare it sometimes.

    • +2

Works out to about 28 cents

  • +1

36 roll pack seems OOS but the 48 rolls are $21.60 for S&S

Is this just not in stock anymore?
Why is it, most deals I click on now, I click on "see all buying options" and it's never the cheaper deal? Think I see it more often than not these days.

    • +2

Because they aren't delivering to your post code anymore, mentioned first comment in this thread, scroll up.

      • +3

Oh wow, that does make sense.
Even when I go back through my past orders of basics like rubbish bags, laundry tablets etc. None are available anymore.
Maybe Prime isn't worth it anymore.

        • +6

Yeah makes it hardly worth, they'll be getting mass cancellations if this is permanent. Very likely to cancel my own membership next year if no change.

          • @MiscOzB: Yep. Been thinking that for a week now myself.

          • +1

@MiscOzB: Yep, when the prime membership expires from the Telstra points deal, I wont be paying for prime any more

            • @Spending2Much: Can everyone cancelling Prime for this reason also lisr "because of ads" in their reasons. Paying extra p/m to remove them (rather than introducing a new price tier which could be reduced via annual payment), sux. Appreciated, may boost that message too

        • +2

I've cancelled mine - any item that they do S&S on (and many other items as well) can no longer be ordered to regional and rural postcodes.
I'm not going to pay money for a "sub-prime" membership.

  • Sorbent 10 packs are half price $4.50 this week at woolies.

    • I remember sorbent didn't even sell out during covid

  • I've opened a new pack recently and found compared to my previous pack, it seems to be a lot thinner than before? Probably will just stick to Kirklands after its done

    • -1

BUT KICKS MORE EXPENSIVE PER UNITPRICE ?

      • I'll pay the 0.0046/100 extra with the piece of mine that the paper isn't going to tear through mid wipe lol

    • I bought it on Amazon yesterday. Looks the same

  • +1

Also $17.99 at Chemist Warehouse for those who cant get it on amazon.

  • Has Amazon tried this regional non delivery in N America and Europe, or is it just for us plebs. Probs an idea of regional exec to climb the ladder on the backs of the farm animals. (bad day sorry)

  • +1

WHY WOULDNT JUST GO THE 48PK ?

    • seems like less fkn around to me as well
