    great game, great price

  • Tempted to buy this even though I don't own a Wii yet.

Is it generally a lot more expensive, or do you guys think we'll see deals like this in the coming months? (I'm hopefully getting a Wii later this year)

    • +1

When the Wii U finally releases, yes, expect to see lots of Wii titles selling at a much lower price. The Wii U is expected to be released after April 2012.

AAA titles like this generally go for $40~50 new and $30~40 pre-owned so this is a fairly good bargain.

Do you see DS games selling for a cheaper price because of the 3DS? I don't.

        • The 3DS can handle regular DS games, so it's strictly not a new platform…and it is quite an expensive console, so not many people have adopted it yet. It's still in the growth stage of the product life cycle.

Why would they lower the price if the 3ds can play them and most people can only afford DS's?

        • +2

@scrimshaw, I think what Yuri is saying is that Wii titles might not go down much in price as the Wii U is completely compatible with Wii titles. Same as the DS and 3DS.

Nintendo games (Smash Bros, Mario Kart, etc) seldom drop in price.

  • Stock available for in-store pickup at Elizabeth SA.

      OOT is much better but.

Wow, I remember when this game used to fetch a premium as you needed the original disc to install Homebrew on the Wii..

    • -5

      Yes, 'homebrew'

    • Yeah I think I paid at least $50+ when I brought it for that reason, previously I would just hire it to soft-mod a Wii.

    • +1

I simply borrowed one from a friend. :q

Best game on the Wii, 40/50 hours fun to be had from this. I fyou haven't played it and own a Wii get in on this immediately.

  • Just got it pricematched at EB Brimbank. Think I took the last one though :(.

  • Fark!
Just checked this morning my local DS had stock now it's gone…..
I think Ozbargain is just too quick.

waiting for Wiis to start selling 2nd hand at $50 before buying one.
I used to have a Wii with over 10 games. Sold it for >$600. Suckers

  • This is the best game on the Wii HANDS DOWN!!! worth every penny!

Oh yes, and you can use this game to hack the consol I hear…

    • +2

It's sad that this is true and that Twilight Princess was actually a ported launch title from Gamecube, which highlights just how barren the Wii's library is.

      • I have the GC version of the game, is it worth an additional copy???

        • Not unless you intend on picking up the Wii U and REALLY don't want to plug in the GCN.

        • The entire game world is mirrored and Link is right handed. I hear it's an entirely new gaming experience.

Gonna have to travel from Eastern suburbs to Broady for this one.

    sigh

    Shall be worth it.

    AWESOME!
This is the best game I've ever found!

  • One of the must-haves on Wii. I'm actually playing through this game again at the moment, forgot about how huge it was.

  • DSE @ Myer Centre Adelaide has a couple of copies left.

    Grabbed one for myself.

  • Just placed an order for pickup. I wanted this game for so long but it was always pricey considering it's a game of 2006. Thank you so much!

  • anyone got a price match any jb or eb

    • yes, got a price match at EB in WA, just print out the page linked above, worked for me.

    • I too went in to JBH armed with a print-out. Got Zelda reduced from 94.95 to 20.00!! Sales assistant was helpful and quite surprised at the price difference!

  • Anyone in Bankstown, there's one copy left in Big W, not sure if they'll pricematch considering there is no copies left at any of the Bankstown Dick Smiths. Grabbed the second last copy at Big W (cause they'd only let me get one, or else I would've left the one at DS), and the last one at DS. Sorry but I needed two copies.

Anyone know how much this worth for trade-in?

    • No idea broden.

      • -1

        Huh, are you ok?
If you don't have an ans please keep it quite.

        • +1

$20, I'm not joking, it really is $20 at both Game and EB

  • EB in Sydney have it but wont pricematch since DickSmith dont have any stock left.

    • I guess it depends on the sales assistant. The one I dealt with didn't even check if there was stock.
