    AusDroid have a review.
Wish it had AndroidOne instead of MIUI user interface.

    • can't agree more, i am willing to pay extra $100 if it has stock Android

      • Lineage?

        • had considered that, not a fan as there could be tons of compatibility issues (reminds me of the cm rom days), not to mention mi 9t isn't on the list yet, last i check.

@Tyler Kwok: Miui global EU is pretty awesome. Have it on the wife's phone mi max 3. Currently on lineage myself. No issues. Mi5s plus

            • @Korban Dallas: tks for the info! i bought mi 9t for wifey too, tried miui global and i could say acceptable but not ideal. i might give lineage a try when mi 9t is officially on the list.

  • I think no NFC.

  • Does this get VoLTE support from Telstra/Boost?

I was leaning towards the OP7 but heard OP7 doesn't have VoLTE support

scroll to the bottom of the above link. It gives Telstra, Optus and Vodafone network compatibility. Very handy!

Both Telstra VoLTE and VoWiFi work but need specific codes entered to disable carrier detection. These codes are mentioned on page 20 of the Whirlpool Mi 9T thread.
For VoWiFi the network preference should be set to favour WiFi.

  • Of the MI 9 range. Does it go SE - T - regular 9 version?

    • Ive been looking into this range a bit lately and yea id probably go, 9SE, 9T and then Mi9 and 9T pro are pretty on par. The Mi9 does not have the pop up selfie camera but it does have wireless charging. The cameras are slightly different too but are pretty comparible.

  • They sell these at JB hi-fi for anyone that wants to see how it feels in hand.

I personally think it is a good phone but I prefer a smaller screen and less weight.

  • It seems there is difference between Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?&idPhone1=9738&idPhone…

    • Looks ike its mainly chipest and the pro has 18w fast charge as opposed to 27w.

Impressive that the standard version has the same camera setup, apparently these cameras rival some flagship phones. So if your not fussed about a slightly slower processor and want a great camera on your phone this is a pretty tempting option.

      • Yes, the standard version is good enough. After a couple of years, users can simply buy a newer phone.

  • Kind of annoyed I ordered mine on the weekend.

Missing out on another 2% off and cash rewards.
