Found this while browsing for a new headunit, cheapest price it's been. Personally I like this one cause it has physical Vol and Seek buttons.
Comes with a free reverse camera, no idea on the quality/model though.

well shit hahaha, i'm still happy with my purchase :P
No Android Auto on the Pioneer
Installation maybe expensive. Better DIY
Yeah that's my plan, i've done a couple of these with my brother so should be an hour or twos work
Any estimate about installing these things?
Helped a friend install one in his VW Golf a couple of weeks ago, was surprisingly easy… And I haven't installed a head unit for a long time
Looks at getting an ISO adapter cable for the stereo and then a ISO adapter cable for your model of car
That should make 90% of the wiring easier
With this, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/482380, it is only $349, no?
383.59 with a kemax reversing camera universal kit (unsure of whats included in the ebay offer).

well shit
Will this fit a first-gen Audi A1?
Yeah, that’s it
I'd say unlikely. The screen and head unit look to be around 1400mm deep.
Google "Audi A1 2DIN" and you can see it's been done, but I can't find the required parts/fascia kit for a 2DIN installation anywhere. The only commonly available kit is for a 1DIN installation, which would only suit something much more expensive like a Alpine iLX-F309E or Pioneer AVH-Z7250BT.
800x480 pixels and 7"??
My phone has a 2560x1440 pixel screen and its 5"…
Which is why Clarion FX688A is probably a better deal being cheaper and 720p.
True, these things have crappy screens. But you usually hold your phone much closer, and it's not like most people will be watch HD video on these…
The pixel density is something like 10x worse and my face is only around twice as far away from this thing vs the phone… I think the Clarion looks like a much better buy personally for this reason alone.
To see a pixel on 1440p 5 inch screen your would have to hold it within 4cm from your eye. Unless your are critiquing photos on your car display, is it really an issue?
you should be keeping your eyes on the road, not on the car audio system :)
Waiting for a capacitive screen unit for around this price
How deep is the head unit
This unit is worth more rrp
