This is a pretty bargain price for this CPU. Noticed the price drop this morning and thought I would share this with you guys. For a whole $130 more I'm not sure the 3700x is really worth it.

3600 is better for most general use cases
You can get it cheaper here with eBay Plus
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/481758the 3600 for 275 is a very good deal
i think 3600 @ $275 , outperforms 2700x in some productivity benchmark
Not a deal in the context of the Ryzen 3600. Shouldn't be looking at this unless it's under $250.
this has two more cores than the 3600, so depending on the workload the multicore speed and extra core count will be hugely benefical
In select workloads, it can perform 20% better, but in most multicore workloads, it's more like 10%.
For the vast majority of people, the 3600 wins out. The problem here is that this is a product that should be on clearance, and the 2700 is approaching an equivalent price of $220 in some sales globally.
This is a bog-standard price in the current climate, not a deal.
IS the $2 extra for 3600 a better deal https://www.amazon.com.au/AMD-Ryzen-3600-Processor-100-10000…
Wish we could get the msi mobo deal in that listing..
