I go to Basement Books under Central Stn, Sydney often. Its a remander bookshop that takes throwaway books, CDs and DVDs and sell them for a couple of bucks each.
I have found excellent tech books here.
Anyway, my mate ordered a tutorial book for Final Cut Pro for 2.40$ incl delivery.
They have free delivery till July 31st so…

The website isn't much good, but from personal experience the store itself is quite good - mostly old stock of books, but a big selection and you occasionally find a gem in there and all very cheap. +ve not for the website but for the store itself.

There are soome good bargains in there. $1 book is good when you're travelling-leve it behind for someone else to enjoy when you have finished it.
