  Do they give you the cd key straight away so you can preload on steam or do they email you the cd key on release date ?

    From what I have read about GMG they usually give you the key on release date, i'm not certain how it is for Deus Ex. I imagine it depends on when Steam gives them a list of keys. They are a proper digital distribution site and don't sell the cd keys out of retail packages like cd key sale sites. Yhis game happens to use Steamworks so it's the only way it can be digitally sold outside of Steam (monopolies are great eh :P)

  I don't think it's worth owning it physically though since it's a steamworks game which means you need to activate your cd key on Steam and then your disc is useless :P

  Although those are less comparable since they are almost double the price of this deal, anyone know a better deal on the console versions? Possibly summer sale somewhere + postage works out cheaper?

      I forgot about that aspect.
      Keep in mind steam files on the disc usually still need to download anywhere from 150mb to over 1GB of extra files. Still beats downloading 6gb for the full game though :) +1 for reminding me
