Is it really that much of an upgrade that it renders an 'old' Switch undesirable?
Mine has had intermittent crashes and the left joycon bracket has seen better days - the joycon sometimes slides off. So, it would be nice to get a new one - but as I say it still works so can't justify it.
Get a grip case. Makes the Switch significantly sturdier.
I like the "Jetech Grip case" on Amazon AU.

ive got the skull and co and also the satisfye grip, these two are usually considered the best grips on the market.

https://skullnco.com/i greatly prefer the satisfye grip, but the skull and co allows you to change the grip size which may be more suitable if you have smaller hands. skull and co is also meant to be dockable, but its an extremeley tight fit so i end up just taking it off before docking.

I had $20ish eBay credit left from previous purchases. Then I paid this deal with another $350 gift cards. So now I have only less than $10 credit left in my eBay account.
I always buy plenty of eBay and WWS gift cards when possible (usually from 10% or even 15% off eBay UK deals). So eBay and Big W deals become better to me.
