Yes I agree but at a cheaper price. I ordered 1 will compare with a Xiaomi powerboard I have.
This looks like a clone of Xiaomi Mi Power Strip Extension Power Board with USB Ports (3-Outlet + 3 USB). How does it compare quality wise?
Will see when I receive mine
thanks, just bought one.
No way I am going to buy a Xiaomi knock-off with a name that doesn't even show up in Google.
Another dodgy giveaway: one picture states 2.1A USB ports, up to 3.1A total. Another pictures states "2A", while the text states 2.4A per port. Just making it up as they go.
Thanks. Bought one
I bought this one to use for traveling in Europe not for the USB ports.
Be interesting it comes out the same Yam Cha factory as the Xiaomi
Its a chinese board, as the earth is on top.
No AS cert #. Sorry will pass, as may your insurer if a problem occurs.
It surprises me that Amazon would "stock" / fulfill these orders, given they're not certified for use in Australia. I guess they'd use the argument "we're not the ones technically selling the items" if anything should ever happen.
You don't even need to look for a certification mark on products like these - just look at the pins… not insulated = not compliant for legal sale in Australia.
Talking heads did a song for things like these Burning down the house.
Unsafe (not Aus standard).
So do the Xiaomi one
They can make it "Look" the same on the outside, but it will be cheap and nasty on the terminals where it counts…
The product photo looks identical to the Xiaomi powerboards I have. Dunno if that helps anyone
