Already broke my 1 purchase per day policy …
Does it still count as 1 purchase if there are multiple items in the cart?
Would these be okay for hiking in the Alice or overkill?
Its $5 lmao - if its overkill, no love lost.
Yeah fair. Just picked up 2!
Clear lenses also available $4.74
HONEYWELL SPEC HYPERSHOCK CLEAR ICE CLEAR HARD COAT https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B00YE5P6WE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i…Thanks, still available in this lens. Used my Jelly Bean money from previous amazon deal
Maybe a stupid question but whats the difference ?
Click the link and all will become CLEAR ;)
Awesome. One of my old pair of sunnies I only use for running has fallen apart this week. If these are comfortable they seem ideal for running :)
I can’t spot where it says they are the polarised version
These don't have polarised lenses
Honeywell Hypershock POLARISED lenses enhance fine detail and deep colours while reducing the oriented light that causes glare-minimising eye fatigue, strain and discomfort
These aren't polarised. The espresso polarised are polarised. The lens descriptors are for the entire range, not just this version.
@bargainshooter: The model that was for sale is the S2969
Uvex by Honeywell Hypershock Safety Glasses, Brown Frame with Espresso Polarized Lens & Anti-Scratch Hardcoat (Model S2969) (Amazon.com)
The non Polarized brown Espresso lenses are a different model number.
Uvex by Honeywell Hypershock Safety Glasses, Brown Frame with Espresso Lens & HydroShield Anti-Fog Coating (Model S2961HS) (Amazon.com)
@rewstar: You're right - the amazon.com listing for the same ASIN (B016IHF1H0) is the polarised version. I was going by the amazon.com.au product title. Amazon (esp AU) often stuff up titles and descriptions. They sometimes even get the manufacturer product codes mixed up.
Mine have arrived and indeed are not the polarised ones.
Oh no!? What was the model number on the packaging?
@bargainshooter: Part number on the packaging is 1024854AN, 56AN being the polarised model.
As Amazon AU never advertised them as being polarised I expected as much. They're still surprisingly good for the price.
Confusing but I think these are not polarised. Have a look at

Perfect. For mowing lawns.
Thanks, needed a spare.
Awesome price. Gets good reviews. Bought 5 pairs for work. At bunnnings similar polarised ones go for $30 Thanks op 👍
Not polarised afaik
Sold out
Missed out so I bought them for $11 on Ebay AU if anyone else wants some. Free delivery with Plus.
Back in stock at Amazon for anyone interested.
Probably a cancelled impulse buy…
OP, are you sure these are polarised?
This is the link to the espresso polarised glasses
https://www.amazon.com.au/EYEWEAR-HYPERSHOCK-BLACK-ESPRESSO-…$80 now, what a joke.
Excellent these will do my nicely for my climb up Mt Uluru
Cant find em says $83.17 each!
If anyone has found a cheap (<$20) offer on these (Polarised) I'm still really interested please!
They seem to have been OzBargained across the country :)
OP so did you get the polarised versions or just brown/espresso tint? Reviews and at least one person here suggest they're just tinted glass…?
god damn it op, september goal was to limit the amount of random impulse buys !
