Cinema's plus booking fees are really annoying.

I know. I think event is something like $3.50 per ticket which is outrageous.

      • It’s literally their core business. It’s like McDonald’s charging a hamburger fee.

Isn't their core business to make money from the Snack Bar?

Agreed. By booking online you are not tying up a staff member. Booking online should be CHEAPER not dearer.

Gold class is not worth it anymore.. Just get hoyts recliners and xtremescreen

    • I was gonna say the same thing. Plus the noodles and sushi from the outside stores are cheaper/better than the Gold class food

  • Monday’s are $25 I believe too

  • If you have insurance through AAMI, you can get $20 Gold Class tickets (plus booking fees) via AAMI rewards.

The only catch is they have limited days and times you can select (usually Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesday evenings).

I'm a tight ass and only go to $12.50 movies and bring my own drinks n snacks in.

    • I bring a jumper with a drink and snack as well 😂.

    • That's not tight, it's called not being stupid :)

  • FYI Hoyts Lux through the Optus rewards is $27 + $3 booking fee all the time

  • Think they'll have a better deal for Black Friday? Waiting on the $25 Gold Class vouchers, as even if they only last 6 months compared to a year you can still watch most movies you want to watch.
