Looks like a decent option for those on Optus prepaid and travelling overseas to those 5 countries.
Or buy an Optus sim which is regularly on special at Coles/Australia Post/Optus.
Data only lasts for 5 days though.

You need to be on the Optus Epic Data or Epic Vaule plans (so can't add it to the Daily Plus or Long Expiry plans).

For some reason it is actually cheaper than buying data to use in Australia where $20 get you 3.5GB to use over 7 days - go figure.

    There's a $40-50 plan with 4GB included now though. Best postpaid option (when it's on sale for 40)

      Sadly it's much worse than that - It's 2GB for $59, and 4GB for $79 since Optus raised prices a few weeks back https://www.optus.com.au/shop/mobile/phones/sim-only

        Never get sad over a missed Optus deal, the next is only ever a few weeks away

        Was only 1-2 weeks ago the business plan was $48, that was 24mo though. It'll go on sale to $40-50 again.
