thegoodguys website shows many stores in WA has stock but eBay shows no stock i nWA
They send eBay stuff from VIC I believe, not the local store.
Anyone can tell PSY1600 or YAS207 which one is better? Been looking for these two for ages, thanks
You should've listened to them for ages instead. Not much point looking at them.
This is a sound projector (YSP). It looks the same as a soundbar but work slightly different. Someone else may be able to explain the difference better.
slightly better surround sound
We listened to both.
Found that the YAS was a bit muffled compared to the YSP. Felt the YSP had a bit more clarity.
The end of the day it's personal preference on what you like.
YAS209 about to be released in Aus and CNET called it "The Best Sounding Smart Soundbar". RRP will be $599 at launch though. Videopro has it on their site for $549 from memory.
In Melb Nunawading is the only store with stock, post is $56 for me. No deal.
that's still cheaper than anywhere else plus you get an xbox
Anyone suggest a 5.1 wireless surround system for around this budget?
I can't say if its better, but I got the HW-N650 for a bit over $400 (sub and bar) and the wireless surround sound pack for under $100.
I hated it at first but after some updates its at the point I would say it is very good movies. For newer netflix movies in particular I've found it to be exceptional and really give that cinema feel.
It's shortfalls are it not as nice for music, even my cheap Z623 speakers shit all over it musically.
The other annoying trait is there is no direct control for adjusting volume between front and rear. Also the base control is minimal.
I've found a work around using a glitch but its still a bit annoying that they didn't include such simple and useful feature.
Awesome. Where did you buy them for at that price?
Both from previous eBay deals i found here.
footyboy,
Yamaha YHT 1840
$355 from Videopro via Ebay using code PAPA20 on checkout.

That's not wireless though?
I gave him an up vote. 2 out of my 3 criteria were met.
No its not wireless. The only thing I can think of even remotely close to that budget that has wireless rears is Yamahas Rxv 485 receiver and its around $600 without any speakers.
There are a few soundbars that are 5.1 that have wireless rears but they are 700-1000 last time I looked. And for that money, I would have wires and a proper system anyday.
Xbox One X and it's a deal
One helluva deal!
I have bought one. have to pick it from geelong. Not sure if it includes a subwoofer.
It should. The cable between the bar and the sub was missing in mine and had to chase it up.
MAN !! this soundbar works brilliantly.. Subs model is NS-SW050 which is also very good… i am really glad i bought this deal .. now selling off my xbox on FB :)
place i went to collect didnt have the sub woofer and had never sold it :/ bit of stuff up i think
I never got 3 months gold or game pass for mine lol. Chased up numerous times and nothing. Gave up
did you get the sub woofer?
@ubcool: Yeah, cannot remember exact model name of the sub. On their system it is the YSP1600MK2
bugger looked like a good deal.
I ummmed for too long, only wanted the speakers. snooze=loose
BTW still have stock at my local, but I guess this is a head office deal.
Looks pretty good if you're after something like this
