~$10 more than the earlier ~$595 Evoke OC deal. This is a more neutral-looking card than the very gold Evoke. It hasn't been lambasted all over the interwebs for high memory temperatures thanks to poor thermal pads. And, it has a good review from Tech YES City (better temperatures and slightly lower noise at factory settings vs the reference/blower card).

Fair - it's possible MSI dun goofed with this one too :-(
The actual plate seems to be identical.
Hopefully we see more reviews/tear downs of this. Only Tech Yes City's review as of now.
After they somehow screwed up with the Evoke i'm not really interested in buying a MSI card, Although this seems like a decent price hope to find the Sapphire Pulse at a similar Price in the coming weeks.
Hoping this sets the pricing standards for sapphire and powercolor.
Here's hoping. That card is awesome for what it's meant to be priced at, but it's just stupid in Aus.
Here we go..
YoU cAn GeT a RTX 2070 SuPeR fOr OnLy $200 MoRe…
Was that the sort of thing you're bracing for? ;-)
100%
but is it 200% faster
yea and could probably barely run Crysis now
Wow that's a good deal. The 5700 non XT models are running at around $575.
Reference XT was recently around 580 with eBay Plus (which also had the $1 for a year offer). Need to see some VRAM temps to say it's good really, GDDR6 temps like the Evoke are simply not acceptable when they're bordering on max operating temperature.
Love me some Tech YES!
MSI is a no from me. I'd only buy their motherboards… except I bought an Asus Strix :D
i thought that too… until I got a 450 Tomahawk trying to get it stable with my 3600…. the painnnnn
I go back on my original statement, their website says it has great thermal padding, maybe they fixed it? Warranty if not!
All orders have been canceled because they're not getting their supplier stock. However they put it on the buyer saying "Buyer canceled order" to avoid getting defects on their account for not having stock and have been reported to eBay.
Holy sh!t, that is miserable. Offering items for sale without stock in hand is probably common eBay practice (or is it? I dunno?) but blaming buyers to dodge fallout is f@cked.
I haven't received that notification?
My order made it all the way to Cairns only for it to be redirected back to the reseller. They claimed they shipped the 5700 instead of the 5700 XT but they have no stock to send back out…
wtf that's even more dodgy than what they did for the rest of us, feel free to report them via eBay chat because they're probably doing that to avoid issues
Can do but what do you think the outcome of that would be?
@stinhambo: Most probably not you getting your GPU, but the seller might be banned from ebay for dodgy behaviour or something like that
Linked video doesn't cover VRAM temps. Taking another look to see if there are teardowns elsewhere.
