    perfect, time to restock

10% discount is BS, prices are jacked by 10%.

    • +5

OMG yes. I'm so annoyed! Bought. Then had a weird Deja Vu moment on one of the prices of my items, went back to my wish list, all the saved items on my wishlist are actually 10% cheaper.

I'm gonna email them asking for a 10% refund, dodgy buggers.

    • +1

Sure are! That's poor form, iHerb.

Voiced my dissatisfaction via email. Suggest anyone who makes regular purchases to do the same so they [hopefully] listen.

      • +1

They used to add GST at the checkout and not show it in the listings but now include it in the actual listings, this might be where the additional 10% is coming from. If you look at it from any other country everything is still 10% cheaper.

        • Hey Chris

I understand re GST, felt a bit dudded as some items I was buying have increased by 15%, perhaps more.

  • +6

Too unreliable. Following the link the shopback extension logo turns green. As soon as you click on check out it turns red??

    • Ordering via the ShopBack app (click-through) seems reliable.

  • +7

My product was $11 last month, and now it is $15. Also, 10% loyalty credit is discontinued, you won’t get the credits anymore.

    • +2

Noticed that yesterday, my loyalty discount had disappeared so I had to cancel the order I put through then re order it using the code….sneaky buggers.

    • +4

Iherb prices depend on how AU $ fares. Currency fluctuations means prices change. I prefer their Au prices listed to Vitacost where I need to constantly check Au$ cost per item.

They incorporated GST into item price now, where before they added it at checkout, so everything is now how prices would be seen here in the shops.

For August they basically give you 10% off, but not the usual credit.
Might not work as incentive for some.
      20% Shopback is good though.

      • except there's no telling that shopback may work. Also in the last 20% off
        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/459121

      • Are you confirming loyalty credit is not earned during just August?

        • Yes, saw on their site that for August they will not give loyalty credit.
Basically they give you 10% GST price off, but no credit until September.

I check prices in AU and US and only buy if it is cheaper or can't get it in AU.
They also have 10% off NOW products right now, which works out for me, including the Shopback 20% off.

Never had a problem with Shopback or Cash rewards. I do use an old phone on wifi just for those purchases, with all the apps installed.

Keeps the bloatware of all this seperate from normal phone, iPad, computer.

  • anything recommend to buy which is better than Chemist warehouse? as I usually purchase everything from them.

    • +2

Plenty of better brands on iHerb that you wont here in Aus (NOW Foods, Doctor's Best etc). Also some good products which you can't get here at all AFAICT, otherwise I'd buy locally.

      • +1 for Now Foods, happy with their vitamins / supplements and there's an extra 10% off that brand atm

In line with what you said, I buy their Zinc Picolinate, as it's virtually non-existent in this country!

  • can't used code. I purchased in early2019 but said code only for return customer. why?

    • Were you logged in when you put the code in?

  • +9

Price jacked, when code applies says for returing customer only. Hope there is store rep seeing this. If you want to give a deal, give a deal, dont treat people especially ozbargainers like morons.

    • +1

Hi, I thought I already mentioned in the OP that the promo is for existing customers?

      • I am an existing customer. I logged on and the account was registered prior tge deal.

        • How much in your cart? The minimum is $60USD before the 10% off code kicks in. I've used it earlier in the week. Add more stuff and u will surely see for yourself..

          • @nismo: I gave another shot, more than 200 dollars in the cart. Still same message appears.

            • +2

@rayraywangy: Hmm. I can get it to work, but I noticed the code is sometimes blocked with some other discounted (in cart) items, meaning some of the Now Foods products but not all…

              • +1

@nismo: Thanks for trying to help me mate. Just these sneaky moves and inconsistent pricing put me off. No deal from me. But thanks all the same, fellow ozbargainer!

  • Talk about bait and switch, email says "Dear iHerb customer,

Get to the site its US$40+ for free shipping

Was going to order somethings I needed, the higher prices and this, have me looking elsewhere

  • +3

Prices include GST now, rather than before when they were pre GST which only applied as a rude surprise in the later part of the checkout confirmation.

  • It doesnt work for me, code dosent work on existing account, free ship doesnt work too. Order over au$60.
    No idea.

    • It worked for my order just now.
Email support is quick, maybe tell them.
      Companies want to sell.

    • You'll find it's actually over $60USD for the 10% code. And over $40USD for the free shipping.

Both are clearly outlined in the email I received from them.

  • +1

The 10% does not work on Australian orders.

    • I have just ordered and it worked.

Can you email iherb support? They were quick to sort things out when I had problems last year.

    • Worked fine for me. For some reason it was saying none of the shipping methods were available but you just click thru to checkout and it works fine.

  • weird. code didn't work for me but I still ordered anyway. can't bother to find way email them as their vitamin d3 are still cheap than CW.

  • +3

Jacked prices. Very disappointed with one of my favorite stores

    • GST is now included in each items pricing, otherwise prices are normal. Give an example, otherwise it's an invalid neg…

      • It was always gst inclusive. Dha California was $10-11 now $13+. Why so serious?

        • No it’s only recently the displayed price includes GST. It used to only add on the GST at check out.

        • Incorrect.. . GST was previously added right at the end of checkout, now it's upfront in the prices of every item. Otherwise not really serious 👍 ☺

But personally, I almost never neg deal, something has to be really bad. I think you guys are too trigger happy and most negs here are unfounded and not justified…

  • You'll find it's actually over $60USD for the 10% code. And over $40USD for the free shipping

They have a banner on their AU website mention 10% off over $60 spend, everything in the website is in AUD but now they claim the $60 is USD? Very misleading

  • +1

I filled my cart up a few days ago to wait for a discount but almost everything has been jacked up. Moisturiser was $28 now it's $35, Sad!

  • +1

Regardless of whether prices are up 10%, it's 30% off total (including cashback), what more do you people want?

  • +1

The code worked when I spent $80ish, NOT $60. Very inconsistent.

    • possibly something in you cart is on exclusion list?

  • 10% off is not sitewide. It applies to only certain items in the cart.

  • Anyone made purchase and received shopback tracking confirmation?

    • nothing =/ I'll email them on monday if I still haven't received any confirmation email by then

    • Tracked my iherb order from yesterday. Just got Shopback notification. 20% as advertised. All ok.

      • yeah, just received mine too. took over 24hrs, longer than usual but got tracked in the end so all good :)
