Hi Guys!

Finally pulled the trigger on a monitor upgrade!

The benq EW3270U is a 4K display with HDR 10 support, through my research I've found the monitor to offer the following:
- Near full coverage of sRGB spectrum 99-100% Independently verified by 3 sources
- 95% DCI-P3 Coverage via HDR setting
- Freesync from 24-60Hz
- 3840x2160 on 31.5"
- On Monitor ambient light sensor (for BenQ's own eyestrain reduction technology)
Packaged at a very reasonable price (sub $700).

The current stand only offers tilt but the monitor does include 100x100mm VESA mounting points and reasonable desk mounts can be found very cheaply on Amazon/ebay.
(Monitor is 7.5KGs from BenQ's offical website)

Normal and market price is around $798 (Officeworks - https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/benq-32-4k…)

Mwave is currently offering their mVIP membership for $59 ($30 off) with the monitor offered at $599 with the membership.

That's a nice vrr range! Also the ambient light sensor is a nice touch.

Is $660 for a VA panel a tad expensive?

I paid $849 for mine when it first came out haha

For the benefits in colour accuracy versus the price I'd happy take the compromise. IPS 4K with this level of colour accuracy seem to be trending around the >1k mark….

  • 60Hz seems a little disappointing for the price. Perhaps I'm being too picky.

EDIT: Just realised this is UHD, not QHD - please ignore above.
